As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Broadway Records will release a New Broadway Cast Album of Fiddler on the Roof. It will have its worldwide release on March 18th and be available to purchase at The Broadway Theatre beginning March 8th. The recording is currently available for pre-order at The Broadway Theatre, on Amazon.com and on the label's website,http://www.broadwayrecords.com/. Broadway's Shuffle Along Or The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed is a new production that presents both the 1921 musical itself and details the events that catalyzed the songwriting team of Noble Sissle and Eubie Blake, and librettists F.E. Miller and Aubrey Lyles to create this ground-breaking work. Previews will begin Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Opening night is Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). AMERICAN PSYCHO, the American premiere of a new musical based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis -- which celebrates the 25th anniversary of its publication this March -- will begin performances on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Joining Pasquale as 'Jamie Lockhart' is Andrew Durand as 'Little Harp,' Evan Harrington as 'Big Harp,' Greg Hildreth as 'Goat,' Leslie Kritzer as 'Salome,' Ahna O'Reilly as 'Rosamund,'Nadia Quinn as 'Raven/Goat's Mother,' Lance Roberts as 'Clement Musgrove' and Devere Rogers as 'Airie/Man.' The Body of an American will feature Michael Crane (Gloria, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and Tony Award nominee Michael Cumpsty ('Boardwalk Empire,' Machinal, End of the Rainbow, 42nd Street). As BroadwayWord reported yesterday, stage and screen actor David Margulies passed away on Monday, January 11. He was 78 years old.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, legendary singer, songwriter and actor David Bowie has passed away following a long battle with cancer. He was 69. The news was shared on Bowie's official Facebook : January 10 2016 -David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. Fans have been leaving tokens of remembrance outside of Bowie's show, LAZARUS, and you can check out the beautiful tributes below.
