In his New York City solo concert debut, acclaimed Tony nominee Rob McClure (Chaplin) celebrated his unique influences through story and song. The event, which ran July 1-2, featured a swinging band, special guests (both people and puppets!), and lots of laughs and memories from his leading roles in Honeymoon in Vegas, Noises Off andAvenue Q! There's lots to Smile about.

Just last week, Colman Domingo hosted Vineyard Theatre's Annual Emerging Artists Luncheon at The Gander (15 West 18th Street) in Manhattan. Cirque du Soleil and RED, a Sony distribution company, recently announced that the Broadway cast album of PARAMOUR will be released later this summer. The album will contain songs and selections from the show, including material by Bob & Bill and Andreas Carlsson.

Directed by Obie Award-winner Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), Small Mouth Sounds begins previews for a commercial run at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street) on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 7:30pm, with an official opening night set for Wednesday, July 13, 2016. The limited engagement will run through September 25, 2016.

New York Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, presented by Chase, began performances on June 15 at Radio City Music Hall. The limited eight-week engagement continues through August 7, 2016. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Javier Muñoz - Lin-Manuel Miranda's alternate in the Tony Award-winning musical Hamilton on Broadway and the actor who portrayed AlexanderHamilton when President Barack Obama saw Hamilton last July - will step into the title role starting July 11 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St.), it has been announced byHamilton producer Jeffrey Seller. Mr. Miranda's final performance in the Broadway production is set for July 9.

The Carole King Musical celebrated 1,000 performances on Broadway yesterday, becoming the longest running show to play at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (formally known as the Henry Miller Theatre).
