HAWAII FIVE-0 To Update A Favorite Episode from the Original Series

CBS's HAWAII FIVE-0 will again pay tribute to the original series with a reboot of a popular episode from the beloved series which was broadcast more than 39 years ago. Beginning Thursday, Dec. 13, the current production will begin principle photography on an episode titled "Hookman," based closely on the Emmy Award-winning episode of the same name from the original series.

MTV Names Susanne Daniels President of Programming

MTV (a unit of Viacom Inc. NASDAQ: VIAB, VIA) today announced that programming veteran Susanne Daniels - formerly head of programming at The WB Television Network ("Gilmore Girls," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Dawson's Creek," "Smallville," "Charmed"), President of Entertainment at Lifetime ("Army Wives," "Drop Dead Diva"), and Director of Comedy Development at FOX ("Living Single," "Martin") - is joining MTV as President of Programming. Daniels will oversee all development and programming for the network, including scripted and reality series, news and documentaries, production and talent. She will be based in Los Angeles, and report to Van Toffler, President of MTV Music & Logo Group, and Stephen Friedman, President of MTV.

Cinedigm Scores Rights to Offbeat Assassin Flick VIOLET & DAISY

Cinedigm Entertainment Group, a division of Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM), has acquired North American distribution rights to writer-director Geoffrey Fletcher's VIOLET & DAISY, which world premiered at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. Fletcher recently earned the Cinevation Award for his work on VIOLET & DAISY at the 2012 Savannah Film Festival. Cinedigm's theatrical distribution will commence in 2013, with subsequent roll out across on-demand, digital and DVD.

E! Renews MARRIED TO JONAS for a Second Season

Grammy(R) nominated music megastar Kevin Jonas and his small town Jersey girl wife Danielle will return to E! for a second season of the popular half-hour reality series 'Married to Jonas,' produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions. The new season will follow the couple as the Jonas Brothers finish their new album and head back on tour for the first time in three years. REDNECK ISLAND Returns to CMT with Network's Highest-Rated Season Premiere Ever

CMT's REDNECK ISLAND hosted by Steve Austin scored with the season two premiere on Saturday, November 10, claiming its place as the network's highest-rated series launch in history. REDNECK ISLAND earned a .75 among P18-49 with more than 1.4 million viewers P2+ tuning in, according to early Nielsen reporting. The series also performed well on CMT's social platforms, as #RedneckIsland trended nationally on Twitter for the majority of the show, and peaked at the #4 position. Additionally, the series Facebook page grew roughly 400 percent since the beginning of the month.

SKYFALL Scores Biggest Bond Opening Ever

The latest installment in the James Bond franchise, SKYFALL, and the third in Daniel Craig's repetoire, brought in $87.7 million in its first three days - the biggest opening for a James Bond film ever- plus $2.2 million during Thursday night previews alone. Craig's previous Bond outing, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, broke the Bond record in 2008, earning $67.5 million during its opening weekend.
