Michael Arndt, the writer behind THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, and TOY STORY 3, is set to pen the upcoming STAR WARS trilogy for Disney, Deadline reported today.

As Deadline reported this afternoon, AMC and Netflix are nearing a deal to bring THE KILLING back to life following its cancellation last summer. The arrangement would make THE KILLING a collaborative endeavor for the two companies, with AMC airing the show's third season first.

ARROW keeps on hitting the bull's-eye for The CW. Last night was ARROW's most watched (3.75M) episode since the series premiere on October 10, and matched its season best among adults 18-49 (1.3/4) and adults 18-34 (1.1/3) according to national Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. ARROW also matched its second best performance in women 18-34 (1.1/3).

USA Network's longest running original drama BURN NOTICE, consistently one of cable's top scripted series, today received a 13-episode pickup for its seventh season. In 2013, the Emmy(R)-nominated series will join an elite group as the third show in the network's history to reach 100 episodes. This pick-up completes the renewals of summer's most successful block on television following the recent third season order of USA original SUITS.
