Bravo Media announced today they have picked up two new scripted pilots slated to commence production early 2013. Both pilots center on the complex dynamics of modern families. 'Rita,' produced by Fox Television Studios, and 'The Joneses,' produced by ABC Studios, are part of the network's overall strategy to expand its non-scripted original programming slate into the scripted genre. Bravo plans to debut its first original scripted series in the fourth quarter of 2013.

On December 4, 1998, Gus van Sant's shot-for-shot remake of Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 classic horror film PSYCHO was released in theaters. The film has gone down in history as one of the most 'pointless' remakes, according to the great film critic Roger Ebert.

Deadline reports that director Matt Damon has joined the all-star cast for George Clooney's upcoming WWII drama THE MONUMENTS MEN from Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
