Jones calls the work 'a highly theatrical rollercoaster ride that is both provocative and redemptive,' and continues, 'People will be healed by this play.' Comedian Chris Rock, film and TV star Kevin James, singer and actress Ashanti, TV star George Lopez and more will join Mets Legends and Baseball Hall of Famers in the 2013 Taco Bell(R) Legends & Celebrity Softball Game at Citi Field on Sunday, July 14th. Additionally, former Mets catcher Mike Piazza has been added to the roster. Also joining are Hall of Famer and former Mets and Yankees outfielder Rickey Henderson along with former Yankees Bernie Williams, who joins as the American League Captain. Williams will rival former Mets John Franco as the National League Captain. The Softball Game will be televised immediately following the Chevrolet Home Run Derby on ESPN on July 15th.

MNSBC Dips in 2Q 2013, Ranks as June's No. 2 Cable News Network

MSNBC was the #2 cable news network for the month of June, topping CNN and HLN in key ratings categories, according to data from Nielsen. Without big news events to drive ratings, CNN dropped 43% in weekday Primetime and 40% in daytime among A25-54 compared to May 2013. FOX News Channel saw the network's lowest weekday Primetime performance among A25-54 in more than twelve years - since August 2001.

Hallmark Channel announces that 'Touched By An Angel' Executive Producer, Martha Williamson begins a highly anticipated return to television with 'Dead Letters,' a Hallmark Channel Original Movie of the Week that's targeted to become a primetime series. 'Dead Letters' tells the inspiring story of a group of postal detectives whose mission is to deliver letters and packages from the past, which arrive miraculously when they are needed most. The two-hour original movie stars Eric Mabius ('Ugly Betty,' 'Outcasts,' 'Cruel Intentions') as leader of the group, Oliver, and Kristin Booth ('The Kennedys,' 'The Newsroom,' 'Banner 4th of July') as newcomer to the Dead Letter Office, Shane. 'Dead Letters' will have its World Premiere on Hallmark Channel, Saturday, October 12 at 9p.m. ET/PT, 8C. If greenlit, 'Dead Letters' would air on Hallmark Channel in 2014.

CMT Wraps Second Quarter with Double-Digit Growth in Adults 18-29

CMT wrapped up its second quarter of the year posting double-digit gains for its key P18-49 demo in both Prime (+31%) and Total Day (+33%) over last year, and currently ranks among the Top 5 fastest-growing cable nets for the quarter. Growth is particularly strong among women when compared to last year, with the largest gain among young females as W18-34 grew in both Prime (+56%) and Total Day (+52%) for the quarter. The gains mark the network's third consecutive quarter of growth (P18-49, Total Day), and follows an aggressive strategy with more hours of original programming than any time in the network's history.

Animal Planet Scores Best Quarter Yet in Key Demos

In second quarter, Animal Planet achieved its most-watched quarter ever in prime and total day among major key demos, including P2+ viewers (768K, 466K), HH (546K, 358K), P25-54 (352K, 203K) and P18-49 (330K, 200K). In prime, the network also marked its highest quarterly delivery ever among M25-54 (195K), placing Animal Planet at #16 among all ad-supported cable networks for 2013 to date.

TNT Renews FALLING SKIES for Fourth Season

TNT has ordered a fourth season of Falling Skies, the Epic drama produced by DreamWorks Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg and starring Noah Wyle. Currently airing Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Falling Skies is averaging 5.8 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery and ranks as basic cable's #1 scripted series with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the summer-to-date. TNT plans to launch the 10-episode fourth season in summer 2014.

The panel, which addressed gun violence in America, featured Lion, rapper T.I., Congresswoman Maxine Waters and community thought leaders. The panel was moderated by the LYVEF's Executive Director, Dr. Rob 'Biko' Baker and was inspired by Snoop Lion's 'No Guns Allowed' single from his Reincarnated album. mun2, the leading Hispanic entertainment cable network for young Hispanic adults, continued to have double digit growth on weekend prime (Saturday/Sunday, 7-11 p.m.) deliveries in the second quarter, according to Nielsen. For the quarter on weekend prime, the network was up +31%, delivering 135,000 total viewers and +34% delivering 78,000 adults 18-49, and was the #1 Hispanic entertainment cable network in weekend prime with women 18-34 and women18-49 out-delivering Discovery en Español, Galavision, FOX Deportes and Tr3s. Programs that anchored and increased deliveries for the quarter remained mun2 original reality series I Love Jenni and Fugitivos de la Ley: Los Angeles, original music series Reventon, as well as the highest delivery for its mun2 Presents series with its mun2 Presents: Fast & the Furious 6.
