HBO Documentary Films is currently in production on a film telling the story of the historic Supreme Court case that overturned Proposition 8, California's ban on same-sex marriage, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. Over the last five years, directors Ben Cotner and Ryan White have had exclusive access to the work of the powerhouse legal team led by Ted Olson and David Boies, as well as the lives of the four plaintiffs in the case. The untitled feature will be completed by the end of this year for debut on the network in 2014.

An artist whose work has been presented at prestigious museums and galleries from Los Angeles to Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong, KAWS' art will be present throughout the award show, influencing the design for both the set and the logo. Additionally, artists who win a 2013 “Video Music Award” will take home a special-edition KAWS Moonman, which was created exclusively for this year's show.

In addition, 2Q13 represented “GMA's” 4th consecutive quarter win in Total Viewers, its longest streak in nearly 20 years (since 4Q93 – 3Q94); and 3rd straight win in Adults 25-54, its best run in more than 21 years (since before 4Q91; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991).

Acort International, one of the top distributors of independent films in the global marketplace, has recently acquired S.J. Evans' horror film “Dead of the Nite” for international and US distribution.
