This fall, SHOWTIME will take an unflinching, in-depth look at some remarkable individuals facing their own imminent mortality in the documentary series TIME OF DEATH, from executive producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz of the Magical Elves production team (Top Chef, Fashion Star, The Real L Word(R)). Cameras will follow brave, terminally ill individuals as they live out their final days, supported by family, friends, healthcare teams and hospice workers, who gently help guide the process. TIME OF DEATH is currently in post-production for a fall debut on SHOWTIME.

A good 'Friend' will help SHOWTIME celebrate the New Year: beginning Sunday, January 12th, EPISODES, starring Golden Globe(R) winner Matt LeBlanc, will join SHAMELESS and HOUSE OF LIES in the network's prime Sunday programming block. The fourth season of SHAMELESS, starring William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum, will kick off the night at 9:00 pm ET/PT, followed at 10:00 pm by the third seasons of HOUSE OF LIES, starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell, and EPISODES at 10:30 pm. The seventh season of CALIFORNICATION will premiere in the spring, along with the sixth season of NURSE JACKIE.

SHOWTIME has cast Golden Globe nominee Ruth Wilson (The Lone Ranger, Luther) as the female lead of its drama pilot THE AFFAIR. Ruth Wilson will play the role of Alison, a young married woman, working in a pancake house, trying to piece her life back together in the wake of a tragedy. As previously announced, Golden Globe nominee Dominic West (The Wire, The Hours) stars as Noah, a father of four, who makes Ruth question the choices she's made, and wonder whether there's a way to start all over again.

The 2013 CONCACAF GOLD Cup Tournament concluded Sunday yesterday with the United States Men's National Team defeating Panama 1-0 in the championship match broadcast live on FOX from Soldier Field in Chicago. The game posted a 1.4/4 national household rating/share and ties the 2011 UEFA Champions League Final as the network's highest-rated soccer broadcast ever. Sunday's Gold Cup Final, which saw Team USA win its 11th consecutive match, and fifth Gold Cup Championship (first since 2007), averaged 2.4 million viewers, the most for a soccer match on FOX since the '11 Champions League Final (2.6 million). The match was the top-rated event of the day among Men 18-34 (1.2), and the audience peaked as the match concluded with a 1.8 from 5:45 to 6:00 PM ET and 1.9 from 6:00-6:05 PM ET. Sunday's broadcast was +56% over the national rating posted by last Sunday's Gold Cup quarterfinal match on FOX between the US and El Salvador (0.9/2). Kansas City led all markets with a 3.2/7, followed by San Diego (3.1/8) and Washington, DC (3.0/7).

Discovery Channel's NAKED AND AFRAID was the #1 ad-supported cable program among both Persons and Men 25-54 delivery and Persons and Men 18-49 delivery on Sunday, July 28. The series earned 2.38 HH/2.19 P25-54 rating with 3.62 million total viewers P2+, scoring the highest rating ever for the series. NAKED AND AFRAID now shares the record for the highest-rated survival telecast in the network's history since June 2009. In addition, Discovery Channel ranked as the #1 ad-supported cable network in P25-54 and P/M18-49 delivery (no exclusions).

Animal Planet's hit frosh series, TREEHOUSE MASTERS, is renewed for a second season and is slated to return first quarter of 2014 with a 13-episode order. This announcement comes on the heels of the series' outstanding season-one performance, which had its finale Friday, July 26.

All four July episodes of Rizzoli & Isles ranked among basic cable's Top 10 programs for the month of July. Leading the pack was the July 2 episode, which was basic cable's #1 scripted program for the month. Meanwhile last week's episode of Rizzoli & Isles has grown to 7.4 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery (+3% vs. the prior week), including 2.4 million adults 25-54 and 1.9 million adults 18-49.

NBC Sports Network presents Hooked Up with Tom Colicchio, a new 30-minute outdoor fishing show featuring chef/owner of Craft restaurants and head judge of Bravo's Top Chef Tom Colicchio and guests in various fishing locations in the United States. The five-part series premieres with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, July 31, beginning at 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. The premiere features Super Bowl XLII champion and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Plaxico Burress and Colicchio as they search for fish in the Florida Everglades and talk football and family.
