According to Deadline, BEHIND THE CANDELABRA's Scott Bakula has signed on for the eight-episode series, which follows three friends who explore the fun and sometimes overwhelming options available to a new generation of gay men. Frankie J. Alvarez, Jonathan Groff and Murray Bartlett also star. Andrew Haigh directed the pilot.

The adaptation comes from Warner Bros. and CBS Film, with an original script by David Kajganich.

Syfy announces additional casting for its upcoming drama pilot, High Moon, inking Peter Macon, Dana Davis and Jonathan Tucker for recurring roles in the 90-minute pilot. Charity Wakefield also signs on for a pilot guest starring role. Co-produced by Universal Cable Productions and Lark Productions, the pilot is set to commence shooting August 26 in Vancouver BC. Major League Baseball Productions and FOX Sports today announced they will collaborate on a new series titled Mission October, with the first of eight episodes debuting Monday, August 26, at 7:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1.
