Fox Networks Group (FNG) announced today that COSMOS: A SPACETIME ODYSSEY will debut simultaneously across multiple U.S. Fox networks, including Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX), National Geographic Channel, FX, FXX, FXM, FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo and FOX Life on Sunday, March 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). This first multi-network launch event for Fox Networks Group, along with the series debut on Fox International Channels and National Geographic Channels International, will make COSMOS: A SPACETIME ODYSSEY available on 220 channels in 181 countries, with an overall footprint of more than half a billion homes.

NBC's primetime coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games tomorrow, Friday, February 14 at 8 p.m. ET features the men's super combined gold medal final featuring five-time Olympic medalist Bode Miller and reigning world champion Ted Ligety -- the previous two Olympic gold medalists in the event. Also highlighting primetime on Friday is the final phase of men's figure skating -- the free skate -- which combined with the short skate score, determines the Olympic individual men's figure skating champion. The favorites are reigning world champion Patrick Chan of Canada, and this season's Grand Prix Final winner Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan. Americans Jason Brown, whose score in the short program earned him a sport in the final group of skaters, and Jeremy Abbott will compete in the free skate after winning bronze in the team event.

On the heels of receiving 10 Academy Award nominations including the rare feat of scoring nods for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and all four acting categories Columbia Pictures and Annapurna Pictures' American Hustlehas surpassed $200 million at the worldwide box office, it was announced today by Jeff Blake, chairman, Worldwide Marketing and Distribution for Sony Pictures.

According to Deadline, Romany Malco (WEEDS) is set to star in Kevin Hart's semi-biographical comedy pilot for ABC. The project, titled KEEPING IT TOGETHER, will follow a couple who attempt to maintain their friendship following a divorce, for the sake of their kids.

According to Deadline, John Singleton (BOYZ IN THE HOOD, SHAFT) has signed on to direct the long-planned Tupac Shakur biopic from Morgan Creek Films and Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films. Singleton will also produce and re-write the current script.

World-renowned rock band U2 will perform their Oscar®-nominated song, “Ordinary Love,” for a global audience at the Oscars®, show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today. Shooting is set to kick off this summer, with a midseason premiere being eyed. An exact date and episode count have yet to be confirmed, though Deadline suggests the network will order between 6-10.

The project, which hails from Warner Bros., Rashida Jones and Will McCormack's Le Train Train, 'is a romantic comedy that follows the relationship between a young couple, Andrew and Zelda, from meeting to breakup.' Ben Queen will pen the script.
