Hale Centre Theatre's production of THE FOREIGNER in West Valley is uproariously funny with an emotional core. Director Eric R. Jensen has combined many outstanding elements to create a satisfying comedy to bring in the new year.

Bernadette Peters' New Year's Eve concert at the Eccles Center, presented by the Park City Institute, was a smashing success. The concert was a thoroughly entertaining opportunity to see a living legend do what she does best. An ovation is well deserved by the Park City Institute for treating Utah audiences to such talent.

It's the perfect show to introduce young children to live theatre but will easily keep teens and adults entertained with its witty banter and powerhouse vocals.

A hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy, Pioneer Theatre Company's ELF THE MUSICAL is also a heartwarming love letter to the spirit of Christmas. If you want to see a holiday-themed show this season (and why wouldn't you?), ELF THE MUSICAL is hands-down the best choice in Utah this year.

There's no mincing words here. If you've never seen LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL, you owe it to yourself to get to Midvale Main Street Theatre this week before its production of the show closes.
