Musical Mondays Los Angeles (Ryan O'Connor and Scott Nevins, Co-Producers/Hosts) have announced that in anticipation of Liza Minnelli's upcoming concert at The Hollywood Bowl, they will present their first ever LIZA NIGHT. Featuring performances by Tony Award Winner Daisy Eagan (Broadway's Secret Garden, Les Miserables, TV's The It Factor), Tony Award Nominee Valarie Pettiford (Broadway's Fosse, TV's Half & Half, Film Jumping the Broom), Tom Lowe (TV's American Idol & Real Life: The Musical on OWN), Deborah S. Craig (Broadway's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee & TV's Hart of Dixie), Julie Garnye (Broadway Cares' HAIR in Concert, Les Miserables), Stephanie Renee Wall (West Coast Ensemble's Gypsy), Sarah Wolter (Fred for Nothing), as well as additional performers TBA, will present an evening of songs made famous by Minnelli. In addition to performances, a ticket giveaway to see Liza Minnelli at the Hollywood Bowl will be presented at Eleven Nightclub in West Hollywood on Monday, August 6th at 10 PM.

The new jazz musical, The Journey of E, is a musical tour of that period, taking the audience from the era of prohibition in America, through the hard times of the Great Depression, and on to jazz in Europe and the music of Edith Piaf - the "E" of the title.

On his own Caracol Records imprint, he will release the follow-up, Ruido en el Sistema, this October. The first Spanish-language single, "Eres Tu," will be available on August 7, following the release of the English-language version, "Are You," this past April.

The socio-political activists and high-energy musicians of FLOBOTS have announced a national tour surrounding the release of their newest album, The Circle In The Square (Shanachie Records/release date: August 28, 2012). Kicking off on September 14, 2012 in Missoula, MT, the tour sees the powerhouse of a band playing cities across the US throughout September and October before returning to their hometown of Denver, CO to close out the run (tour dates below).

Ever since a protest on the site of the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant in 1977, dancer/choreographer Patty Smith has been personally and physically involved in numerous public acts of protest. In her new recital at Town Hall Theater, For What It's Worth, she explores the power of private, personal, and physical protest.

For the first time in many years, Honolulu Theatre for Youth will tour a theatre performance statewide to public audiences. HTY's 2012-13 season opener, the world premiere of Five Chinese Brothers, will be presented.

After much anticipation, artist Matt Enger is today announcing the opening of 'Exploding Sky' in New York. The show will feature Matt Enger's limited edition screen printed street-wear, large inspiration drawings, sculpture and his custom vintage American firearms.

'The Pianos I Have Known: The Autobiography Of Irving Fields' was released this past week. Collaboratively written between 94 year old Irving Fields and Huffington Post sports and music columnist Tony Sachs and edited/released by music critic Aaron Joy through his indie book publishing and music label Roman Midnight Music.

The Howard County Arts Council is seeking nominations for the 2012 Howie Awards honoring individuals and businesses that have made significant contributions to the arts in Howard County. The 2012 Howie Awards will be presented at the Celebration of the Arts in Howard County on March 23, 2013, where members of the arts, education, government and business communities of Howard County will gather. Nomination forms are available online at the Arts Council's website, www.hocoarts.org. Nominations must be postmarked, emailed or faxed no later than November 1, 2012.

Since its inception in 2001, The Bluegrass Gospel Project has become "one of New England's premier concert acts" (Seven Days). The group comes to Middlebury's Town Hall Theater for a concert on Friday, August 17 at 8:00 pm.

The Greenville Little Theatre (GLT) is thrilled to present Scot Bruce and his band in Shake, Rattle, & Roll: A Rockin' Tribute to the King August 16-19. Los Angeles-based Scot Bruce wows fans all over the U.S. and abroad with his unbelievable 1950's & 60's era Elvis Tribute Show. Along with his rockin' 4-piece band, Bruce meticulously and respectfully recreates the electrifying musical excitement of Elvis in his prime...right down to the vintage instruments, the hip 'threads' and the grease in the hair.

This fall Anais Mitchell has been invited by Bon Iver to open for them on the East Coast leg of their North American tour including two sold-out nights at Radio City Music Hall. These dates follow Mitchell's recent sold-out U.K. tour in support of her latest release Young Man in America.

Comedic actors Christian Mansfield (Broadway Bares, National Tour of 42nd Street), Ken Urso, and Philip Mutz (also co-author) will star in the upcoming production of Gay Camp in this year's New York International Fringe Festival, running from August 11 - August 22. Gay Camp is directed by Arizona native Phillip Fazio.

7th MONARCH, the critically acclaimed mystery by Jim Henry, featuring Tony Award winner Michael Rupert, will end its limited engagement Sunday, August 12th at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre. In addition to Michael Rupert, the cast of 7th MONARCH features Michael Cullen, Gretchen Hall, Leslie Hendrix and Matthew Humphreys, under the direction of Scott C. Embler.

INGMAR BERGMAN'S PERSONA is a new stage adaptation based on Bergman's shooting script for the film Persona. Roscommon International Reunion 2012 is a celebration of Roscommon people around the globe.
