Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) announces casting for the 2012 Fall Season. The Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, Sunday in the Park with George by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine will be staged by CST Associate Artistic Director Gary Griffin, September 26-November 4, 2012 in CST's Courtyard Theater. The season continues with The School for Lies by David Ives, adapted from Moliere's The Misanthrope and staged by CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines, December 4, 2012-January 20, 2013 in CST's Courtyard Theater.

Last Spring, the Painted Bride Art Center introduced audiences to the artistic talents of noted playwright/director/actor Ain Gordon and announced an 18 month residency with Gordon and Philadelphia filmmaker Nadine Patterson. The residency was to unearth an overlooked or little known story from the city's history. The challenge was to find something in a city where history is an industry and stories abound. The artists have worked with several organizations across the city and have found inspiration in the women reformers who lived in the city from the early to mid-1800s. Place Philadelphia Project research will culminate in an as yet untitled workset to run at the Painted Bride, last weekend in April and the first weekend of May during the 2013 Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts. The Camden People's Theatre presents ARABIAN NIGHTS, 13th-18th August.

The final program line-up is set for the annual Chicago Dancing Festival, taking place at venues across downtown Chicago August 20-25. The Festival, co-produced by renowned choreographer/Chicago native Lar Lubovitch and esteemed Chicago dancer Jay Franke, enters its sixth season, expanded this year to six consecutive days of dance events that are all completely free.

EMI Classics will release Fifty Shades of Grey - The Classical Album, a 15-track album featuring classical music personally selected by author E L James herself and referenced in her bestselling Fifty Shades book trilogy. The album will be available in the U.S. and Canada digitally on August 21st and in CD format on September 18th. The album will be released internationally in both formats on September 17th.

The 17th year of The Elisabeth Morrow School Summer String Festival will be held from August 13-17, 2012 at The Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, NJ for children ages four to thirteen. For five days in August, over 200 young violinists, violists, cellists, harpists and bassists will rehearse and perform Bach, Holst, Handel, and Vivaldi in an intensive music training program.

Middle School students of the Young Actors Academy have spent 5 weeks in an Intensive Theatre education program, learning Acting Methods & Techniques, Theatre History and Styles, Improv & Comedic Acting, Theatre Movement, Stage Combat, Make-Up Design, and more; all taught by local, regional and national theatre professionals.
