This reviewer was completely overwhelmed by the tornado of talent that is Meow Meow. Their show MEOW MEOW, SEQUINS AND SATIRE, DIVAS AND DISRUPTORS: THE WILD WOMEN OF THE WEIMAR REPUBLIC on March 23, 2024 was hot and hysterical.

This reviewer was completely enchanted by the sheer joy of Max Raabe's musical performance on Thursday, March 21st at Carnegie Hall. Time travel may not be possible in reality, but it certainly felt like stepping into the late 1920’s and  early 1930’s.

Patrons of 54 Below glimpsed a special piece of New York City history with its presentation of DAVID JACKSON & DAVID WHITE: COTTON CLUB CONFIDENTIAL on February 15, 2024.  Each a Broadway veteran in their own right, David Jackson and David White brought the famed ambiance of the Cotton Club of the 1920’s and 30’s to life in 21st century midtown Manhattan.

This reviewer was overwhelmed by the emotionally intense performance that was UTE LEMPER, WEIMAR BERLIN AND AFTER THE EXODUS.

The packed to capacity audience was itself a glittering sea of sequins when the COUNTESS CABARET STARRING LUANN DE LESSEPS at 54 Below took the stage on February 2, 2024. The whole evening seemed to be one big party as much as a performance!

What an amazing night it was for everyone’s Broadway memories at JERRY ORBACH’S BROADWAY on January 25th at 54 Below.

Norm Lewis and The NY Pops took the filled-to-capacity audience at Carnegie Hall on a joyful sleigh ride through a winter wonderland of holiday songs in time.

If you are craving some of the smooth sounds of Count Basie or Louis Armstrong, come down every Friday night to THE BIRDLAND BIG BAND AT BIRDLAND and have a wonderful night and hear “all that jazz!”

A truly rip roaring performance that was part theater, part concert and completely fantastic!

The fire of the Bennett family's singing legacy burns brightly in this next generation.

The future looms brightly on the horizon for this tremendous talent. I look forward to seeing him in future shows where the lights are bright on Broadway.
