This reviewer thoroughly enjoyed the evening of American Songbook scores from Max Von Essen. The NY Pops' 2024-25 season continues with Merry and Bright, their holiday celebration with Jessica Vosk on December 20 and 21, 2024.

This reviewer was taken aback by these stunning voices. A night of James Bond songs on September did not disappoint this James Bond fan. Many of the performers are as amazing as the seasoned performers who originated the tunes over the years. 

This reviewer was thrilled with Carole J. Bufford's groovy and fabulous trip back through the years! If only the walls could talk they would tell of all they heard on this cool evening of September 4, 2024 at the famed 54 Below. Bufford joyously took the audience on a trip down memory lane with her show, Come Together - When the 60’s Met the 70’s.

This reviewer was thrilled as song after song showcased her ability to command her voice to not only “hit the back of the room” but to literally envelope the famed venue with her reverberating crooning!

Together Laura and Linda Benanti, a truly remarkable mother-daughter singing duo, took to the stage and brought an unsuspecting audience into their own unique world filled with love, laughter and of course, song. The sold-out run continues with two more shows tonight and tomorrow.

The May 15th show benefitted a very good cause, namely to aid Experience Camps, the national non-profit that helps grieving children who have lost a parent, guardian or sibling, to enjoy a full life. “Unforgettable” is the only way for this reviewer to describe the sold-out one night performance of The Music Of Nat King Cole on April 25, 2024 at Dizzy’s Club (Jazz At Lincoln Center). The performance showcased a smattering of Cole’s vast repertoire of songs that we all know and love.
