According to Variety, Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia will executive produce a new comedy series that will premiere on Quibi, a brand-new, mobile-only video platform launching this April.

Variety reports that Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival will play for its eighth year at Dodger Stadium on Nov. 9 and 10. Headliners include festival founder Tyler the Creator, Solange, YG, FKA twigs, Juice WRLD, and BROCKHAMPTON along with one more unannounced. Also playing the festival are newcomers Clairo, DaBaby, Omar Apollo, Dominic Fike and Summer Walker, among others.

Juno Award-winning rock band The Beaches have added headline dates and festival appearances to their upcoming US tour supporting U.K. rock groupFrank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. The girl-next-door garage rock group (who count Sir Elton John, The Rolling Stones and The Foo Fightersamong their fans) will make their first stop Sept. 15 at Riot Fest in Chicago.

Deadline reports that Amazon Studios will sign a first look deal with New York Times bestselling author Lauren Oliver, who wrote Panic, the book on which Amazon's first YA drama series is based. Glasstown Entertainment, co-founded by Oliver, author Lexa Hillyer and producer Lynley Bird, will work with Amazon Studios to develop television series that will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
