kef theatrical productions has announced the return of GURLAND AND FARLEY SING RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN. The one-night only performance will take place at 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 26th at the Laurie Beechman Theater in the West Bank Café, 407 West 42nd Street at Ninth Avenue. The show features David Gurland and Brian Farley with music direction by Tracey Stark. Karkwa was named the winner of the fifth annual Polaris Music Prize. This award, given to signify the best Canadian album of the year, was presented tonight at the gala ceremony held at CTV's Concert Hall at the Masonic Temple in Toronto. In addition to bragging rights, Karkwa take home $20,000 for their album Les Chemins de Verre.
