Stoneham Theatre's Family Show Returns with THE DINOSAUR MUSICALFebruary 26, 2010After last year's success, the entire cast from A Year with Frog and Toad will be returning to Stoneham Theatre for the family friendly musical, The Dinosaur Musical, directed by Caitlin Lowans, with music by Robert Reale and book & lyrics by Willie Reale. The Dinosaur Musical comes from the creators of A Year with Frog and Toad and The A.R.T.'s Johnny Baseball. Steve Barkhimer and Edward Barker, who played Frog and Toad last year, as well as Mary Callanan (Mouse), Matt Spano (Snail), and Ceit McCaleb Zweil (Turtle), will again be a part of this talented cast. The Dinosaur Musical is appropriate for musical theatre-goers of all ages and is suggested for children in the 3rd - 6th grade.
NY Philharmonic's Next Young People's Concert Takes the Stage, 3/27February 26, 2010New York Philharmonic Assistant Conductor Daniel Boico will lead the Orchestra in an exploration of Mozart's Symphony No. 41, Jupiter, on the season's final Young People's Concert (YPC), Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. The YPC theme in 2009-10 is 'Points of Entry,' with each concert taking a single great work as a window into how music is created and how an orchestra brings it to life. Philharmonic Director of Education Theodore Wiprud will host the concert, which is written and directed by Tom Dulack.

The scholarship was created in memory of an incredible young woman, 'Teri,' who generously shared her time and talent with Denton Community Theatre. The scholarship fund was set up by Teri's husband Mark Atkins and her mother Shirley Ottman soon after her death in 1987 to assist college students pursuing a degree in the performing arts.
