Carols for a Cure is back for 2019 in its 21st edition! Below, watch as Aladdin star Arielle Jacobs takes to the streets of NYC with for a special music video for 'December Feel.' She's joined by Malik Akil, Alicia Charles, Lauryn Ciardullo, Mark DiConzo, Olivia Donalson, Josh Drake, Tyler Roberts, Angelo Soriano, and Charles South. 

Six weeks of enthusiastic fundraising erupted into two extraordinary performances of lighthearted parodies, inspiring calls-to-action and exceptional dance earlier this week at Red Bucket Follies. The show, which was performed December 9 and 10, 2019, celebrated the 58 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies that participated in fall fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Laura Linney is coming back to Broadway, direct from London! The four-time Emmy Award winner, two-time Golden Globe Award winner, three-time Academy Award and four-time Tony Award nominee returns in a haunting new solo play adapted by Rona Munro from the bestselling novel by Pulitzer Prize winner Elizabeth Strout. My Name is Lucy Barton starring Laura Linney will start previews on Saturday, January 4 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

From Shakespeare to Shepard, Tennessee Williams to Arthur Miller, Broadway was brought to life this year with not only revivals of today's classics, but with new plays that will surely be tomorrow's classics. This year's opening number was a sparkling celebration of the more than 200 actors making their Broadway debuts this season. The performance featured 60 newcomers, from a bevy of Broadway's brightest children to adults stepping into the spotlight. Featured performers included Jewelle Blackman and Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer (Hadestown), Clinton Greenspan (Aladdin), Gizel Jiménez (Wicked), Jeigh Madjus (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), Reneé Rapp (Mean Girls) and Marissa Rosen (Kristin Chenoweth: For The Girls). The full-hearted number, which received a standing ovation, was written by Michael Liscio Jr. and Jed Resnick, and directed and choreographed by Richard J. Hinds. Coming up next at Broadway's Hayes Theatre is Second Stage's 10-week engagement of Bess Wohl's new play Grand Horizons. Directed by Leigh Silverman, the play will feature Jane Alexander (Nancy), James Cromwell (Bill), Ben McKenzie (Ben), Priscilla Lopez (Carla), Maulik Pancholy (Tommy), Ashley Park (Jess) and Michael Urie (Brian).

In 2014, writer and director Simon Stone brought an exciting, new version of Euripides classic Medea to the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, followed by a run at London's Barbican in 2019. Now, the play is coming to NYC.

Following appearances in Thou Shalt Not, The Pajama Game, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, and two separate concerts, Harry Connick Jr. returns to Broadway this season for the sixth time. This time around, the crooner takes on the classic songbook of one of America's most respected songwriters, Cole Porter.

Roundabout Theatre Company will soon present the first Broadway production of Charles Fuller's award-winning drama A Soldier's Play, directed by Kenny Leon. A Soldier's Play will star David Alan Grier as 'Sergeant Vernon C. Waters,' Blair Underwood as 'Captain Richard Davenport,' Nnamdi Asomugha as 'Private First Class Melvin Peterson,' Jerry O'Connell as 'Captain Charles Taylor,' McKinley Belcher III as 'Private Louis Henson,' Rob Demery as 'Corporal Bernard Cobb,' Jared Grimes as 'Private Tony Smalls,' Billy Eugene Jones as 'Private James Wilkie,' Nate Mann as 'Lieutenant Byrd,' Warner Miller as 'Corporal Ellis,' J. Alphonse Nicholson as 'Private C. J. Memphis' and Lee Aaron Rosen as 'Captain Wilcox.'

The Illusionists - Magic of the Holidays, the mind-blowing holiday spectacular that showcases the jaw dropping talents of the most incredible illusionists on earth, is now in performances for a strictly limited run, through Sunday, January 5.

In 1968, Promises, Promises, a musical based on the 1960 film The Apartment, premiered on Broadway. Featuring music by Burt Bacharach, lyrics by Hal David, and a book by Neil Simon, the show features enduring classics like 'Say a Little Prayer,' 'A House Is Not a Home' and 'I'll Never Fall in Love Again,' but none left such a legacy (especially at this time of year) as 'Turkey Lurkey Time.' Featuring the unforgettable choreography of Michael Bennett, and danced originally by Donna McKechnie, Baayork Lee and Julane Stites, the song has undoubtedly become a beloved classic of the musical theatre holiday cannon... but which holiday?

Theatre for a New Audience presents Fefu and Her Friends, one of the most beloved plays of the late, nine-time Obie Award-winning Cuban-American playwright and director María Irene Fornés. Lileana Blain-Cruz, winner of two Obie Awards (Suzan-Lori Parks' The Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World and Jackie Sibblies Drury's Marys Seacole) stages the play in her TFANA directing debut, the first Off-Broadway revival of Fefu and Her Friends since American Place Theatre's 1978 staging.
