The Marriott Theatre's summer audiences will tap, clap and cheer to the sensational sounds of the 60s with a brand new version of the fun-filled musical SHOUT! This highly anticipated production will preview June 15, open June 24 and run through August 14, 2011. The talents of multi-Jeff Award winning Director and Choreographer Rachel Rockwell, Music Director Dr. Ryan Nelson, and the Marriott Theatre's Lead Artistic Director Andy Hite are all brought together to put a unique new twist on this musical celebration. With its irresistible blend of music, dance, and top-notch production values, this swingin' musical will make you want to jump out of your seat and SHOUT!

Joining Marcus Brigstocke in Damian Cruden's Olivier award-winning production of The Railway Children which returns to Waterloo Station this summer, are Pandora Cliffford as Mother, David Baron as the Old Gentleman, Mark Holgate as Jim, Elizabeth Keats as Mrs Perks, Tim Lewis as Peter, Stephen Beckett as the Father and Doctor, Amy Noble as Roberta, Blair Plant as Shepansky, Amanda Prior as Mrs Viney and Cook and Grace Rowe as Phyllis. They are joined by ensemble members Francesca Ellis, Felicity Houlbrooke and James Rigby.

If It Only Even Runs A Minute 7 is the seventh edition of this series of rare songs, behind-the-scenes tales, and inspiring photos from Broadway musicals that may not have been fully appreciated the first time around. The show features performances and stories from original cast members and writers of several of the featured shows. This is an essential concert for musical theatre nerds.

Grammy Award-winner Olivia Newton-John visited Off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) on Friday, June 24, for a preview of MANIPULATION, a new play by Victoria E. Calderon. Ms. Newton-John, star of Grease and Xanadu, joined actors Brendan McMahon, Saundra Santiago, playwright Victoria E. Calderon, Marina Squerciati, Jeremy Stiles Holm, Robert Bogue, Rafi Silver, Gabriel Furman and John-Patrick Driscoll. MANIPULATION, a provocative new play about one woman's struggle for freedom and self-discovery in a world where the relationships we all cling to - mother and child, husband and wife - become a swirl of games, deception and surprise, directed by Will Pomerantz, opens Tuesday, June 28.

Theatre star Ramin Karimloo is set to tour the UK in October, making stops in Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham. The concerts will feature songs from South Pacific, The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Love Never Dies and Sunset Boulevard.

Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular celebrated its fifth anniversary on Thursday, June 23 with a champagne toast on stage led by 'The Phantom' himself, Anthony Crivello. The Las Vegas production of the worldwide favorite is enjoying enduring success that few other Las Vegas productions have achieved and proves that 'Broadway' can and does flourish in Las Vegas. According to EW.com, stage and screen star Carol Burnett will return to ABC's 'All My Children' in September. Burnett first appeared in the daytime drama in 1983.

La MaMa will present the world-premiere of HAMYUL/HAMLET -- a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's classic play by Korean-American writer/director Byungkoo Ahn-- this summer, with preview performances starting June 23 prior to a press opening June 26 at La MaMa (74A E. 4 St.) in Manhattan. Byungkoo Ahn directs.

The Portland premiere of MARY POPPINS opens tonight, Friday, June 24, 2011 at 7:30pm at the Keller Auditorium for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, July 10, 2011. Up and running now, artists and fans of the red-hot animated series created by Pendleton Ward can log on to atrium.threadless.com/adventuretime to submit designs inspired by Finn, Jake, Lumpy Space Princess - heck, even the Ice King - and the rest of the cast of characters and designs featured in the Land of Ooo. The theme of the program around which artists are asked to create their designs is 'adventuring.'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Broadway veteran Katherine Helmond is set to guest star on HBO's 'True Blood' in the fourth season. Helmond will play Caroline Bellefleur in two episodes.

JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, will break two records this weekend. The hit musical will surpass Abie's Irish Rose with 2,328 performances, becoming the 26th longest-running Broadway show following the performance tomorrow night, Saturday, June 25, and JERSEY BOYS will surpass Man of La Mancha with 2,329 performances, becoming the 25th longest-running Broadway show following the performance on Sunday, June 26.

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing firms, presented the inaugural Off Broadway Alliance Awards Reception June 21, 2011 at Sardi's. Honorees were on hand to receive their awards and Romulus Linney, Ellen Stewart and Lanford Wilson were posthumously inducted into the Off Broadway Hall of Fame.

The all new production of 'Les Misérables,' featuring glorious new staging and spectacular re-imagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo, just opened at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on Friday, June 17, 2011. The Normal Heart made its World Premiere at The Public Theater in 1985 and premiered on Broadway on April 19, 2011 before opening to rave reviews on April 27, 2011. The limited engagement, which stars Ellen Barkin, Patrick Breen, Mark Harelik, John Benjamin Hickey, Luke MacFarlane, Joe Mantello, Lee Pace, Jim Parsons, Richard Topol and Wayne Alan Wilcox, runs through July 10, 2011.
