The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice which tells the back story of Peter Pan, announced today that the show will host a post-performance Halloween costume party on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) on Tuesday, October 30. Both the young and the young at heart are encouraged to come to the 7:00 PM performance on Halloween Eve of Peter and the Starcatcher in their best Peter Pan inspired attire. After the show, ticket holders dressed in costume will be invited on stage to meet the cast and participate in a group photo.

Producer David Youse and Four Things Productions in association with L.A. Works has just announced a celebrity staged reading in celebration of The 25th Anniversary of Robert Harling's Steel Magnolias to take place on Monday, 3 December 2012 at 7pm to benefit The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This special one night only event will take place at the Lucille Lortel Theater located at 121 Christopher Street in New York City, where the original production performed. Directed by Judith Ivey and starring Blythe Danner, Annie Potts as M'Lynn, the original Truvy, Margo Martindale as Ouiser, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Shelby and Sarah Stiles as Annelle. Additional cast announced soon! Music for this production has been generously donated by Bonnie Raitt and Pat Boone. With support from the 25th Anniversary Honorary Committee including Olympia Dukakis, Sally Field, Daryl Hannah, Shirley MacLaine, Dolly Parton and Julia Roberts and sponsored by Lifetime Television, Magnolia Bakery and Veranda Restaurant. The Town Hall's Eighth Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival concludes with The Best of Broadway By The Year on Friday October 26th at 8pm. The festival kicked off with Linda Eder's, Linda Eder, A New Life on Saturday October 13 and continued with Broadway Originals! on Sunday October 21st. The festival is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel.

The revival of Boy George's musical TABOO, which is currently playing Brixton Club House has been extended through March 31.

In 2006, after a lengthy search, Argentinean actress Elena Roger became an overnight sensation starring in the title role in Michael Grandage's widely hailed production of EVITA in the West End. A complete unknown to the rest of the world, Roger starred in multiple theatrical productions and television shows in her native Argentina. Most recently Roger won the 2009 Olivier Award for Best Actress for her performance as Edith Piaf in The Donmar Theatre production of Piaf. She currently stars in the title role in Evita at the Palace Theatre.

An actor since the age of six, Rapp has appeared on Broadway in Precious Sons (Outer Critics Circle Award), Six Degrees of Separation and the revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. His films include Adventures in Babysitting, School Ties, Dazed and Confused, Six Degrees of Separation, David Searching, Man of the Century, Road Trip, A Beautiful Mind, Open House, Winter Passing, Danny Roane: First Time Director and Scaring the Fish. His book, Without You: a Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical Rent, about his experiences on and offstage, was published in 2006 by Simon & Schuster and became a national bestseller.

On Broadway, he also originated the role of Radames in the hit musical Aida and starred as the Emcee in the long-running revival of Cabaret. On Monday, October 22, 2012, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) hosted the 30th Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City and presented 25 Awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film, as well as the Princess Grace Statue Award presented to actor Patrick Page and sound designer Darron L West.
