Roundabout Theatre Company's Too Heavy For Your Pocket, by Jireh Breon Holder, opened officially on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). The play will now run through November 26, 2017.

Showman Marti Gould Cummings, known for his inventive blend of drag, comedy, and vocal performance, announces the release of his first record, A Very Marti Holiday, available on iTunes November 1. Produced by Blake Allen, the album will feature recordings with Marti Gould Cummings, Tony Award Winner Cady Huffman, Tony nominee Daphne Rubin Vega, Olivier Award winner Lesli Margarita, Lion King star Jelani Remy, Kristina Nicole Miller, and Dear Evan Hanson's Tim Young.

The Portuguese Kid, a new play written and directed by Tony, Pulitzer Prize, and Academy Award winner John Patrick Shanley, just opened last night at MTC at New York City Center- Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Welcome back to Falsettoland this fall! PBS will be broadcasting the filmed performance of Falsettos, Live from Lincoln Center on October 27 at 9pm.

Broadway and TV star Mandy Gonzalez released Fearless - her remarkable debut solo recording bridging pop and R&B - on Friday, October 20 from East West Records. Signature Theatre presents Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Obie Award-winner Mark Brokaw.

Eboni Booth, Will Connolly, William Jackson Harper, Ben Horner, Cristin Milioti, David Pegram, and Teresa Yenque comprise the cast of the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater production of After the Blast, a new play by Zoe Kazan, directed by Lila Neugebauer. AFTER THE BLAST will run for six weeks only through Sunday, November 19 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

The Portuguese Kid is now in previews ahead of an October 24, 2017 opening night at MTC at New York City Center Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Performances began on September 19. The show recently announced a one-week extension due to popular demand, and will now play through December 3.

On Monday October 16, 16 Wicked women gathered in song in The Green Room 42. The Green Elixir Mixer was a one night only concert featuring some of the most iconic actresses to have ever played the roles of Glinda and Elphaba in Wicked. The lineup included original Broadway cast members, current cast members and so many in between.

Christian Slater (Mr Robot, True Romance, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest), Robert Glenister (Hustle, Spooks), Kris Marshall (Death in Paradise, Love Actually, My Family), Stanley Townsend (Girl from the North Country, The Nether) and Don Warrington (Death in Paradise, Rising Damp), are the 'deal chasing' cut-throat sales team in David Mamet's masterpiece, Glengarry Glen Ross, alongside Daniel Ryan as Lingk (Linda Green, Posh) and Oliver Ryan as Baylen (Dr Faustus, As You Like It).

Roundabout Theatre Company presents The New York premiere of Anna Ziegler's new play The Last Match, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch. The cast includes Wilson Bethel as 'Tim,' Alex Mickiewicz as 'Sergei,' Natalia Payne as 'Galina' and Zoe Winters as 'Mallory.' BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Previews begin on Thursday, November 9 for The Parisian Woman, the electrifying new play by 'House of Cards' creator Beau Willimon, directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon and starring Academy Award nominee Uma Thurman. As previously announced, The Parisian Woman will open on Thursday, November 30 at the Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street).

Earlier today they held an open rehearsal for the 2017 Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, featuring their classic number 'The Twelve Days of Christmas.' This festive and joyful scene features The Rockettes tapping along to the famous song of yuletide gift-giving.

Bruce Springsteen makes his Broadway with Springsteen on Broadway, a solo show at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street). Springsteen on Broadway opens officially tonight, Thursday, October 12. Springsteen will perform five shows a week through February 3, 2018.
