GAN-e-meed Theatre Project announces the final play of their inaugural 2010 season, Moira Buffini's 'Silence,' a modern Dark Ages comedy of power, gender, identity, and desire, at the Elizabeth Peabody House in Somerville, directed by SerahRose Roth (Producing Artistic Director).

The Fountain Theatre continues its ongoing relationship with Athol Fugard with the U.S. premiere of the master playwright's newest play. Stephen Sachs directs Morlan Higgins and Adolphus Ward in The Train Driver, opening on October 16. Low-priced previews begin October 8.

Art Bridgman and Myrna Packer, the critically acclaimed dance pair and the first joint recipients of a Guggenheim Fellowship (2008), bring their work to the Ordway stage on October 12 at 7:30 p.m. for a one-night-only engagement kicking off the 2010-2011 Target® World Music and Dance Series.

The Invisible Dog, a new art center in Brooklyn, and Crossing the Line will present 'Electrochroma' by Richard Garet. There will be an opening party Saturday, September 25 from 6 to 10 at 61Local.

Bay Street Players will hold auditions for 'GI Holiday Jukebox,' a musical by Rick Lewis, on September 20 and 21 at 7:30pm. Auditions will be held at the historic State Theatre at 109 N. Bay Street in Eustis. Artistic Director, David Clevinger, and Musical Director, Don Hopkinson, are looking for two men and two women ages 20-40 capable of strong four-part harmony. Newcomers are welcome. Those auditioning are requested, but not required, to prepare a musical selection, preferably in the style of the production, and to bring sheet music in their key. In addition, some may be asked to read selections from the script. Anyone not interested in performing onstage is invited to join our team of volunteers and to learn of backstage opportunities needed for this production.

The Kennedy Center presents the world premiere Kennedy Center production of Locomotion which runs October 23-31, 2010 in the Family Theater. Co-commissioned with the Orlando Repertory Theatre, Newbery Honor Award-winning author Jacqueline Woodson adapts her book Locomotion into a family play. Locomotion is directed by Jennifer L. Nelson and the production is recommended for audiences aged nine and up.

EVENING PRIMROSE, the 1966 made-for-television Stephen Sondheim musical about a secret society of people living in department stores, will make its first appearance onstage on October 25, in a performance benefitting the St. George's Anglo-American Cultural Awards. The star-studded cast will include Candice Bergen, John McMartin, Sean Palmer, Bill Duell, John Windsor Cunningham, Carmen de Lavallade, Frederic Franklin, and Sondra Lee. The rest of the cast has yet to be announced.

Hennepin Theatre Trust will host a special 5 p.m. Billy Elliot 'Happy Hour' On Sale Event set for Thursday, Sept. 23 at the State Theatre Box Office in downtown Minneapolis to launch single ticket sales and give those in attendance the best chance for great seats. On that day starting at 5 p.m., tickets will only be sold in person at the State Theatre. Added Happy Hour attractions include refreshments, exclusive offers by Trust restaurant partners and an appearance by BT, the Cities 97 Radio personality. The first 97 people in line will also receive a free Billy Elliot CD cast recording with purchase.

Hollywood funnymen Vince Vaughn and Kevin James are set to embark on a 14 city national tour of the 'Vince Vaughn and Kevin James Comedy Roadshow,' featuring live sketch comedy by Kevin James, Vince Vaughn and surprise special guests, as well as, stand up comedy performances by national recognized comedians Richie Minervini, Owen Benjamin and Steve Byrne. The 'Vince Vaughn and Kevin James Comedy Roadshow' is presented by Wild West Picture Show Productions and promoted by Live Nation.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, FOX's hit show 'House' will feature guest appearances from Dylan Baker, Matthew Lillard and Amy Irving in its seventh season. According to Entertainment Weekly, actor John Schneider will join the cast of ABC's 'Desperate Housewives' this season. The ladies will kick off their seventh season September 26.

Trevor, played by the talented Rebecca Henderson, is an artist most famous for presenting enlarged photographs of a dead woman mangled in the wreckage of a car accident. Years later, the public awaits Trevor's latest work, but a mysterious FBI man with a missing eye (Danny Mastrogiorgio) suspects something amiss with Trevor's new project and is hot on her trail. Trevor's project is under wraps for most of the action of the play, leaving us to wonder as she goes out each night stalking small animals with her car, scraping them off the road and taking them back to her studio in the woods.
