As overachievers go, Isabel Rose makes Oprah look like a slacker. She is a published author, equally comfortable in the realms of fiction and non-fiction, an award-winning actress who has conquered stage and screens (big and small), a screenwriter whose 2003 hit film Anything But Love was deemed a 'charmer' by the Los Angeles Times, and a playwright and composer who adapted her first novel, The J.A.P. Chronicles, into an off-Broadway musical that enjoyed an extended run in early 2006. If that weren't enough, she also graduated summa cum laude from Yale.

Finishing up the third week of a 4-week engagement, Disney's THE LION KING has already broken box office records previously held for touring theatre in Vancouver. The British Columbia premiere engagement is now playing through August 8, 2010 and is averaging $1.8 million Canadian per week. The engagement, which the Vancouver Sun enthused, 'is as pure and powerful a piece of theatre as anything ever seen on stage,' has already sold more than 80,000 tickets and generated over $7.3 million Canadian at the box office.

All exhibitions are free and open to the public. 'I thought what better time than now to follow my heart,' says Shannon. 'I was scared and didn't know what the [acting] industry had to offer, but I knew I was ready.'
