Fans continued to fall in love with Cassie and Luke as Purple Hearts topped the English Films List with 102.59M hours viewed, making it the most viewed title this week. Starring Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine, the film appeared in the Top 10 in 93 countries. In its third week, The Gray Man pulled in an additional 38.9M hours viewed.

Bass prodigy and burgeoning pop icon Blu DeTiger will kick off an extensive North American headline tour on November 3 at Royale in Boston. The run, which will include a concert at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles (November 18), will conclude with a hometown show at NYC’s Webster Hall on December 3. Mexico’s Sgt. Papers - brothers Ivan and Felipe García - will be touring the U.S. this summer and fall. Along the way they make stops in Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle. The band will share the bill with DIW Records label-mates Mengers for a show at New York City’s Berlin Under A on August 25.

The band shared their song “Take Some Time” - a syncopated synth-heavy indie-rock song accompanied by an earworm chorus with a nasty bass line and sparkling guitar solos perfect for a top-down end of summer road trip. “Take Some Time” follows the release of “Don’t Say Goodnight Just Yet” which was released earlier this year.

NBC and the Television Academy announced jointly that Kenan Thompson will host the 74th Emmy® Awards. Kenan Thompson is an award-winning actor, comedian and producer, best known for his work on “Saturday Night Live.” This fall he will enter his 20th season on the iconic late-night series as the longest-running cast member.
