Peacock has shared the official teaser trailer for A Friend of the Family. The upcoming true-crime limited drama series from Nick Antosca (Candy, The Act) is based on the true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan was kidnapped multiple times over a period of a few years by a charismatic, obsessed family “friend.” Watch the new video now!

The soapy period drama aims to examine the timely themes of class systems, power struggles and survival in a time of pandemic with a touch of levity, brought together by a charming and riotous ensemble of characters. The eight episode series will be directed and executive produced by Mike Uppendahl (Ratched, American Crime Story).

Oscar winner Ariana DeBose has been tapped to star in Prime Video's new psychological thriller House of Spoils. DeBose will play a chef who is tasked with fighting off the powerful spirit inside her new restaurant. Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy will write and direct the new film, which is based off of their original idea.

Alternative indie/pop artist HOLNE from Devon recently dropped his debut single 'November Sky'! HOLNE is an alternative indie/pop artist from Devon, UK. Drawing on influences from the likes of Lauv, The 1975 and John Mayer. HOLNE, F.K.A Richard James, creates lyrically honest and undeniably catchy music, setting him apart from the rest. 

‘Near Miss’ is a huge electro-pop track with bouncy synths, soaring keys and a propulsive beat. They all join the lush and ethereal vocals of Liz which pair with intoxicating harmonies to create the truly inescapable chorus. ‘Near Miss’ is the latest song to be taken from her forthcoming debut album The Words.

Singer/guitar player Ryan Osterman gives insight into the making of the track: “Due to the circumstances surrounding the creation of this record, we had a unique opportunity to experiment with ideas and instruments that we wanted to include on Death Spells but didn’t quite have the space to do.

The background beats and bass draw inspiration from 80’s new wave while the performers build excitement by destroying and re-arranging traditional elements. Leenalchi, founded in 2019 have gained a huge following for their music including most recently their track for the original version of Apple TV’s hit series, Pachinko.
