Vancouver-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer Kuri, aka Scott Currie, has returned with a new single + video “Collider,” to shares details of his sophomore solo album. Kuri is a busy film composer, having worked on the last several Bruce Willis movies. He stumbled into that work after the release of his 2019 debut No Village.

Midwestern artist Lissie is a multi-talented tour de force who will release her new Americana-tinged indie folk album Carving Canyons. Lissie appeared in the TV shows Twin Peaks & Loudermilk. She co-owns a pop music genre themed popcorn company Otts Pops Indie Pop as well as living on, managing & conserving 45 acres in NE Iowa.

The first leg of the tour kicks off September 16 in Los Angeles, CA and concludes in Vancouver, BC on September 22. The 3-piece band returns on November 30 for a show in Cambridge, MA with that run ending in Washington, DC on December 16. They play Brooklyn’s Warsaw on December 1. SHOWTIME and The BBC announced the new six-episode gothic thriller THE WOMAN IN THE WALL, led by BAFTA® Award winner Ruth Wilson (THE AFFAIR, Luther) and co-starring Daryl McCormick (Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, Peaky Blinders). Career Woman, the alt-indie project of 18-year-old Melody Caudill, have released “Unfun” via Lauren Records, the second single to feature Logan Hammon and Jackson Felton of Bay Area indie rock band Small Crush. Career Woman is the alt-indie project of young Melody Caudill, a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California.
