Pop music legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Art Garfunkel joins Maestro William Henry Curry and the North Carolina Symphony next month for a concert tribute to the very best from his 50-year career in music.

In this stirring play, young Annemarie and Kirsti Johansen face soldiers, interrogations, personal danger, the loss of loved ones and their own fears as they try to help their friend Ellen Rosen escape across the ocean to Sweden. Number the Stars, a national best seller (and winner of the Newberry Award and the American Library Association Book of the Year Award) by author Lois Lowry (The Giver).

La MaMa in association with Loco7 Dance Puppet Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of Urban Odyssey, a dance puppet theatre piece conceived by Federico Restrepo and Denise Greber, designed, directed and choreographed by Federico Restrepo, with original music composed by Obie Award Winner Elizabeth Swados, and text by Elias Khoury. Loco7 is celebrating their 25th Anniversary season this year. Urban Odyssey, part of La MaMa's 50th Anniversary season, runs Off-Broadway from March 22 - April 8, 2012 in a limited engagement at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre, located at 66 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue & the Bowery in New York City. Previews begin March 22 for a March 24 opening.

In a tiny house of just twenty seats, 292 Theatre offers a beautiful production of In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel, a play which has been staged in New York only twice before. The production will run from March 7th-31st and is directed by Charles Schick & Regina Bartkoff.

In celebration of awards season, Jon and Al Kaplan have released a new video for their song 'Eat My S**t' from their musical spoof of THE HELP. Singing in the video is Octavia Spencer performed by Lucretia T. Williams and Bryce Dallas Howard performed by Stephanie Koenig.

American blues rock guitarist, Walter Trout, today announced the release of his new studio album Blues For The Modern Daze. The album is released by Provogue Records (a division of Mascot Label Group), in the UK on Monday 23rd April, followed by US release on 24th April.

Adam Rapp's Pulitzer Prize nominated Red Light Winter lays bare the passions of three young people caught in a love triangle so dangerous and obsessive that it pushes them to the brink. Red Light Winter previews at the Kitchen Theatre Company on February 22, 23, and 24 and opens on Saturday, February 25. It runs for three weeks, closing March 11, 2012.

The Department of Theatre at Kean University will present The Odyssey in Kean University's Wilkins Theatre on February 24 through March 1. Adapted by Mary Zimmerman from the translation of The Odyssey by Robert Fitzgerald, the play is based on the ancient Greek poem by Homer. With both irreverent humor and epic drama, the Kean production depicts the journey of Odysseus, whose journey encounters him with such mythical characters as Circe, Poseidon, Zeus, Hermes and the Sirens.
