The Houghton College Choir is preparing for their 2012 east coast concert tour which will include stopping in New York City. On Friday, April 6, the Houghton College Choir will perform at the Calvary Baptist Church on 123 W. 57 st. Show will start at 7:30 p.m. and is FREE and open to the public.

The League of American Orchestras today announced the 2012 Orchestra Management Fellows. Agnieszka (Eska) Laskus and Agnieszka Rakhmatullaev, this year's Fellows, will spend one full year in the League's intensive management training program, designed to launch executive careers in orchestra management. Since its inception in 1980, the highly competitive Orchestra Management Fellowship Program has graduated approximately 175 fellows, many of whom hold leadership positions in America's leading orchestras. The program was redesigned in 2011 to train administrators who have direct managerial experience and demonstrated potential to lead a professional orchestra within five to ten years.

The Oratorio Society of New York presents an all-Czech program featuring a masterwork of the choral repertoire and a world premiere to conclude its 139th season on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 8:00 PM at Carnegie Hall. OSNY Music Director Kent Tritle conducts, for the first time, Dvo?ak's Stabat mater, as well as the world premiere of an OSNY commission: Song of Solomon by Juraj Filas, one of the most prominent composers of the Czech Republic. The program's soloists are Rachel Rosales, soprano; Charlotte Daw Paulsen, mezzo-soprano; John Bellemer, tenor; and Ben Wager, bass.

The Cotuit Center for the Arts has announced new summer classes to be offered between May and June. Classes are available for adults and youths alike.

Present Theatre presents Dominic Taylor's new play, STOP SEARCH, from April 27 till May 26 at the Catford Broadway Theatre. Honolulu Theatre for Youth presents the Hawaii premier of MAY DAY IS LEI DAY, a musical play celebrating the global history of springtime celebration and the ways in which the local culture has placed its own imprint on the tradition. Canadian pop-rock icons Tegan and Sara are in the studio recording their as-yet-untitled seventh studio album, the follow-up to their 2009 album Sainthood. M & P Productions has announced a one night only triumphant return to Hollywood's M Bar by the legendary Mack & Poppy lounge act. With two shows at 8pm and 10pm on Saturday, April 14, Mack & Poppy will once again sashay into M Bar, this time with a musical look at their marriage and professional partnership.

The Michael O'Neal Chamber Singers present DOUBLE EXPOSURE, a concert of interpretations of choral composers. The chamber will be performing on March 25 at the Apharetta Presbyterian Church and on March 29 at the Peachtree Presbyterian Church at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively.

OBAMA IN NAPLES, written by Italian Claudio Angelini, is scheduled to play its world premier at the June Havoc Theatre April 25 to May 6.
