AMC's original series “Fear the Walking Dead” will return for the second half of season four, consisting of eight episodes, on Sunday, August 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, as announced during last night's “Talking Dead.” Critics have said “Fear's” fourth season has “completely changed the game,” “…is deserving to be praised as one of the best shows on television, (Comicbook.com.), “feels like it's been given a second life” (Hypable.com), and “has knocked me off the couch” (TV Line.com), among other critical acclaim.

Netflix has given a 10-episode series order to Away, a drama series from playwright Andrew Hinderaker, Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) and Matt Reeves (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Felicity).

Veteran music journalist Joe Milliken recently announced a publishing deal with the Lanham, Maryland-based publisher Rowman & Littlefield Publishers to produce his first book, a biography about the late Benjamin Orr. Orr was the co-founder, co-lead singer, and bassist for the platinum-selling rock band The Cars. TitledLet's Go! Benjamin Orr and The Cars, a release date is set for November 15, 2018.

The 22nd American Black Film Festival (ABFF) will celebrate Father's Day with their annual Community Day event, in partnership with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB).  This family-inspired celebration will take place on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the historic Lyric Theater, located at 819 NW Second Ave, Miami, FL from 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The day includes film screenings with Q&A's and a panel discussion on Careers in Hollywood. The event is free and open to the public.

The Park Theatre's River Street Theatre (RST) closes its Vincent Price Film Festival with a screening of the all-time classic of the 50's horror movie genre with The House on Haunted Hill. It will play on Saturday, June 16 at 7pm.

Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School brought the house down at the Tony Awards with an emotional performance of “Seasons of Love” from the musical “Rent.” Now the school's drama club join TODAY live along with teacher Melody Herzfeld, who says “it's not easy” to deal with memories of the February shooting massacre at the school. Jake Wood was a freshman offensive lineman with the Wisconsin Badgers when the Twin Towers fell on September 11, 2001. Inspired by the first responders who risked their lives while trying to help others, and by former Arizona Cardinal Pat Tillman's selfless sacrifice, Wood joined the United States Marine Corps. He was eventually promoted to sergeant and served four years in Iraq and Afghanistan, deployed as a scout sniper. Wood earned the Navy-Marine Commendation Medal during his time of service; and since being honorably discharged from the Marines in 2009, Wood has committed to advocating for veterans in the United States. He has actively lobbied Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama on veteran transition and disaster response, and has testified before a Senate committee on improving mental health services for veterans. For his dedication to serving others, Wood, the co-founder and CEO of Team Rubicon, will receive the Pat Tillman Award for Service sponsored by Bonobos when “The 2018 ESPYS Presented by Capital One” air live on WEDNESDAY, JULY 18, on ABC.
