Netflix, the world's leading Internet entertainment service, began principal photography last week on its third announced Colombian original series, Distrito Salvaje. Created by Cristian Conti (7 Años, La Cara Oculta) and starring Juan Pablo Raba (Narcos, 7 Años, Los 33, Six); Cristina Umaña (Narcos, Sala de Urgencias, Todos Quieren con Marylin, Yo Amo a Paquita Gallego) and Camila Sodi (Luis Miguel La Serie, Señorita Pólvora, Camino A Marte), the 10-episode series will be available to Netflix members in the Americas in 2018.

Transcendent, two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Evanescence and acclaimed Billboard Award-winning electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling today announce their co-headlining 2018 summer amphitheater tour across North America. The tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off July 6 in Kansas City, MO at the Starlight Theatre and will make stops in 31 North American cities. The trek will wrap September 8 in Ridgefield, WA at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater.

 A leading authority on childhood trauma tells Oprah Winfrey that adverse events early in a child's development increase the child's chances of experiencing physical, social and mental problems later in life.  Winfrey speaks to Dr. Bruce Perry, a psychiatrist and neuroscientist who authorities have consulted on high-profile events, such as school shootings.  She also visits two organizations that treat their clients with the so-called “trauma-informed care” approach shaped by Dr. Perry.  Both the agencies, SaintA and the Nia Imani Family Center, are in Milwaukee, where Winfrey spent part of her youth and experienced her own instances of childhood trauma.  

The crowd-pleasing screwball comedy meets slasher spoof GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE will hit the market later this year via SGL Entertainment.  This is the second film from writer/director Gregory Blair and the second collaboration with SGL Entertainment. The power of a music-driven story, an integral part of Disney Channel's connection to kid and tween viewers, continues to bear out with 'ZOMBIES,' the #1 cable telecast among Kids 6-11, Kids 6-14, Tweens 9-14 and Girls 6-11 in seven months, since the premiere of 'Descendants 2' (July 21, 2017). Among all kids cable TV networks, it is the highest rated telecast in Total Viewers (four million), since the debut of 'Raven's Home' (July 21, 2017), according to newly available L+7 data. The Recording Academy is pleased to announce that Tina Tchen, chief of staff to former first lady Michelle Obama, will chair its task force to examine issues of inclusion and diversity within the Academy and the broader music community. As part of its charter, the task force will identify the various barriers and unconscious biases faced by underrepresented communities throughout the music industry and, specifically, across Recording Academy operations and policies. In an effort to determine pathways toward greater parity at every level of the organization, the task force will look specifically at Recording Academy governance, hiring and promotion practices, membership, awards, and telecast.

According to Variety, Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman is joining the cast of Amazon and BBC's supernatural drama Good Omens. Offerman will play the U.S. Ambassador and father of the child Warlock in the six-part series, which is based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Nick Offerman joins previously announces David Tennant, Jon Hamm, and Miranda Richardson. 

Amazon has announced that season three of the Emmy-winning docuseries All or Nothing, a Prime Original series produced by NFL Films, will launch on Friday, April 27. All or Nothing: The Dallas Cowboys, once again narrated by Emmy-winning actor Jon Hamm (Baby Driver, Mad Men), follows the Cowboys through their tumultuous 2017 season, which they enter with Super Bowl aspirations and exit with disappointment, one game short of the playoffs after a rollercoaster of controversy and emotion. All eight episodes will be available for Prime members on April 27.

The Madison Square Garden Company and Live Nation announced today that due to overwhelming demand, the Eagles have added a second and final show at Madison Square Garden on October 10, 2018 at 8:00PM, in addition to their previously announced and sold out show on Tuesday, October 9 at 8:00PM. Tickets for the newly added show go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 9 at 11:00AM.
