Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly and Starr Hill are thrilled to announce the 2018 Outside Lands comedy and improv line-up for the festival's renowned Barbary tent. Co-curated by SF Sketchfest, this year's lineup is headlined by three of the funniest women in the business: Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Game Night star Chelsea Peretti, 2 Dope Queens' Phoebe Robinson and the unstoppable Michelle Wolf.

GRAMMY® Award-winning, acclaimed alternative rock luminaries, The Smashing Pumpkins today kick off their Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour at Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ. Produced by Live Nation, the tour is the band's first in nearly 20 years to feature founding members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha. Colette is an upcoming biographical drama film based on the life of the French novelist Colette. Colette overcomes an abusive marriage to emerge as a leading writer in her country and a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature. The film is directed by Wash Westmoreland and written by Westmoreland and Richard Glatzer. The film stars Keira Knightley and Dominic West. It premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Bleecker Street will release the film on September 21, 2018.

The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center announces the 2019 dates for the 38th Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival en San Antonio. The first and longest-running Conjunto festival in the country will be held May 15-19, 2019, in the historic Guadalupe Theater and Rosedale Park on the city's Westside. The festival continues the cultural tradition of this uniquely South Texas musical genre by featuring over 30 of the best, most-popular, and emerging bands from across the state, country and the world.
