GRAMMY Award winning band Paramore and Sixthman, the industry leader in music festivals at sea, have just returned to shore after the sold-out Parahoy! Deep Search cruise. The third annual journey was a four-day adventure from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas that took place from April 6th-10th, during which 2700 guests from 32 countries boarded Norwegian Jade and were treated to a variety of performances, activities and experiences. Paramore performed 2 pool deck shows as well as special “mini set” acoustic performances in the ship's intimate Stardust Theater. Those performances saw “Grudges” performed live for the first time and the band being joined onstage by Aaron Weiss (mewithoutYou) for a live performance of their collaboration, “No Friend.” Guests became the stars during “Paraoke,” performing Paramore songs while the band cheered them on from just feet away on stage, laughed as the band judged a belly flop contest, and one lucky duo played ping-pong with Zac Farro and Taylor York. The band also took cruisers' questions during a pool deck Q&A session.

World Renowned Magician Joshua Jay, will present the first-ever immersive close-up magical experience, with his newest creation, Six Impossible Things, directed by Luke Jermay. Six Impossible Things will inhabit New York City's most exciting escape room, The Mist (59 Canal Street), for a limited run beginning June 1, opening June 9 and will only run through July 28, 2018. Lady Parts Justice League (LPJL), the comedy- driven reproductive rights organization announces their summer tour bringing their unique combination of comedy, activism, and on-the-ground support to abortion clinics and audiences across the nation.  After a wildly successful debut last summer, the 2018 Vagical Mystery Tour (VMT) returns with an even more ambitious national tour that promises not only to make audiences laugh and dance, but the VMT performers will work with fans to get them to become activists in their own communities.

Andrew Bird is set for a run of orchestral tour dates in select U.S. cities this fall, performing alongside the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Kansas City Symphony and the National Symphony Orchestra. The final shows of the tour in Washington, DC mark Bird's Kennedy Center debut, where alongside the National Symphony Orchestra he will perform with musician, composer and orchestrator Gabriel Kahane, who has conceived innovative orchestrations of Bird's songs. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis will take on the role of the former infamous mayor of Toronto, Rob Ford, in the upcoming thriller Run This Town, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Ford, who died in 2016, was elected as Toronto's mayor in 2010 but was ultimately stripped of his official powers in 2013 due to drug use and ongoing scandals.
