Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to Present 'A Trip to the Moon,' 9/6August 10, 2011The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present 'A Trip to the Moon' (1902) on Tuesday, September 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. This historic touchstone film by Georges Méliès's will be screened in its original hand-colored version direct from its re-premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this May.

Jennifer Love Hewitt to Star In and Executive Produce 'The Client List'August 10, 2011Golden Globe(R) Award nominee Jennifer Love Hewitt will star in and executive produce Lifetime's new original one-hour series The Client List. Based on the network's hit 2010 original movie, The Client List will launch on Lifetime in 2012 with 10 episodes. In addition, the network has entered into a first look development deal for both series and movies with Hewitt's production company Fedora Films, it was announced today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks. Hewitt's deal also includes her directing a future movie for the network.

August 10, 2011'Coriolanus,' a contemporary staging of Shakespeare's classic play about the titular Roman warrior, stars Ralph Fiennes, Gerard Butler, Academy Award winner Vanessa Redgrave, Brian Cox, Jessica Chastain and James Nesbitt. The film marks Fiennes' directorial debut. Brooklyn Museum Presents 'Ten Years Later: Ground Zero Remembered,' 9/7-10/30August 10, 2011The Brooklyn Museum will commemorate the tenth anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, with an installation, Ten Years Later: Ground Zero Remembered, the focal point of which will be a work in the late Michael Richards's Tuskegee Airmen Series (1997) and Christoph Draeger's photographic jigsaw puzzle WTC, September 17 (2003). The works will be displayed alongside two 2002 comment books filled with text and images by visitors who viewed images documenting 9/11 displayed on the first anniversary of the tragic events.
