The Creative Coalition is pleased to announce that Ashley Greene (Butter, Twilight), Anna Kendrick (50/50, Up in the Air), David Paymer (Twixt, The American President), Morgan Spurlock (Comic Con: Episode IV - A Fan's Hope, Super Size Me) and Roland Emmerich (Anonymous, 2012) have been named as honorees for the 2011 Spotlight Initiative Awards. The awards will be bestowed to honorees during the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

This weekend continues the run of our Street Theater tour, BAMBOOZLED, or, THE REAL REALITY SHOW. This weekend, we have three performances, beginning on Friday Evening at the Coney Island Boardwalk.

Curtis' career spanned six decades with popularity during the 1950s and 1960s enabling him to transpose his good looks into super movie stardom. He acted in over 100 films ranging from light comedy to serious drama and he also made numerous television appearances.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee- Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) will host a Newsies Fan Day at the Millburn theater on Sunday, October 2nd. Newsies Fan Day is an opportunity for Newsies fans nationwide to celebrate this cult phenomenon. Participants will have the opportunity to attend a Newsies Fan Reception at 5pm in the Renee Foosaner Art Gallery on the campus of Paper Mill Playhouse. At 6:00pm, there will be a Newsies Cast Talk-Back where both the stage cast and members of the film cast will discuss Newsies. The Newsies Fan Package costs $25 and includes: the Newsies Fan Reception, Newsies Cast Talk-Back and a Newsies gift. To participate in Newsies Fan Day, you must hold a ticket to the Newsies fan performance at 7:00pm on Sunday, October 2nd, sold separately. Radio Disney will be on campus to join in the festivities.

Rosie's House, a Music Academy for Children, announced today its selection by multi-platinum singer-songwriter Josh Groban to receive a donation from his new Find Your Light Foundation, which is dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through arts, education, and cultural awareness. Rosie's House is just one arts education nonprofit organization selected by Groban to receive funds from The Find Your Light Foundation during his 'Straight to You' tour.

The latest celebrity to join the upcoming season of 'Dancing With The Stars' is former 'Hills' and 'Laguna Beach' star Kristin Cavallari according to reports. She'll join the previously announced Chynna Phillips, Snooki, Tiffani Thiessen and Rob Kardashian.

NEW YORK, August 16, 2011-For the exhibition Diego Rivera: Murals for The Museum of Modern Art, MoMA will reunite five 'portable murals'-freestanding frescoes with bold images commemorating events in Mexican history-that were made for a monographic exhibition of the artist's work at the Museum in 1931. On view from November 13, 2011, to May 14, 2012, the exhibition will also feature three eight-foot working drawings, a prototype 'portable mural' made in 1930, as well as smaller working drawings, watercolors, and prints by Rivera. It will also include design drawings for his infamous Rockefeller Center mural, a project Rivera began to discuss with the Rockefellers while in residence at the Museum. Comprising works from MoMA's collection and loans from private and public collections in the United States and Mexico, Diego Rivera: Murals for The Museum of Modern Art is organized by Leah Dickerman, Curator, Department of Painting and Sculpture, The Museum of Modern Art. MoMA is the exhibition's sole venue.

The Guthrie Theater's splash-hit production of Gilbert and Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore boasts new musical arrangements by Andrew Cooke that borrow inspiration from disco, jazz and rock opera, which he argues help modern audiences appreciate the humor in the libretto. Captained by Guthrie Artistic Director Joe Dowling, and featuring 'sumptuous costumes' by Fabio Toblini and 'arresting choreography' by David Bolger, the Guthrie's production of H.M.S. Pinafore has entertained audiences and critics alike with its 'continuous parade of stunning song-and-dance sequences.' JERUSALEM, a new play by Jez Butterworth, is now in its final week on Broadway. The limited engagement, extended once, ends Sunday, August 21 as scheduled at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), prior to the production returning to London's West End, where it will begin performances on October 8 at the Apollo Theatre.

The 'invaluable' Metropolitan Playhouse--Obie Award winner in 2011--presents a revival of From Rags to Riches, by 'The Master of Melodrama' Charles A. Taylor. Debuting in New York in1903, the play now receives the first professional production in the city since then at Metropolitan's home: 220 E 4th Street from September 17th to October 16th.

Classic Rock legends and Rock & Roll Hall of fame members ZZ TOP are set to perform August 30 at NJPAC in Newark, NJ.

The 9/11 Peace Story Quilt, designed by the artist Faith Ringgold and created in collaboration with New York City students ages 8 to 19, will be exhibited at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from August 30, 2011 through January 22, 2012, in the Ruth and Harold D. Uris Center for Education. The 9/11 Peace Story Quilt poignantly conveys the importance of respect, understanding, and communication across cultures and religions to achieve the goal of peace. Comprised of three 72-by-50 inch panels, each with 12 squares on the theme of peace, the quilt will be displayed alongside several of the students' original works of art that inspired its content, as well as related works made this summer by the Museum's high school interns.

Shakespeare's Globe London Cinema Series continues with the London Globe Theatre's critically acclaimed production of Henry IV Part 2 starring Roger Allam, who won the Best Actor Olivier Award for his definitive performance as Falstaff in this production. Henry IV Part 2 will be shown in select movie theaters across the U.S. at 6:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, August 18. Shakespeare's Globe London Cinema Series, a stage-to-cinema presentation by NCM Fathom, Globe Theatre and Arts Alliance Media, is an exclusive four-part in-theater series of the most classic of Shakespeare titles in U.S. movie theaters nationwide this summer and fall.

The Amoralists are proud to present HotelMotel, a site-specific theatrical event featuring the New York Premiere of Animals and Plants, written and directed by Obie Award-winner Adam Rapp, and the World Premiere of Pink Knees on Pale Skin, written and directed by Derek Ahonen. HotelMotel began Off-Broadway performances on August 4, and continues to run through August 29 at The Gershwin Hotel, located at 7 East 27 Street between Madison & Fifth Avenues in New York City.
