Four time Grammy Award-winning artist Lyle Lovett will make a special guest appearance with the Kansas City Symphony tonight at the 2010 Symphony in the Flint Hills. The sunset concert for several thousand takes place at outdoors in the picturesque tallgrass prairie of Chase County, Kansas. Lovett will perform three songs with the symphony; 'If I Had a Boat,' 'Which Way Does That Old Pony Run' and 'Natural Forces,' the title track to his newest album.

This year, our staff is coming in from Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, Cleveland, Detroit and several from New York City. Our alumni have gone on to work in feature films, television series, commercials, and Broadway tours. They have also gotten into some of the best BFA theatre programs in the nation. That's what happened this spring when Rodney Rock of UConn's Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts in Storrs contacted the Windham Theatre Guild. Jorgensen was going to get new chairs as part of their renovations and they offered some of their old seats to the WTG.
