MOCA Cleveland Releases Design by FOA for New BuildingJuly 16, 2010The Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland (MOCA) today released the design for its new facility, following its presentation and approval at a meeting of the City Planning Commission. The project is designed by the internationally acclaimed firm Foreign Office Architects (FOA), London. The Museum anticipates that it will break ground for the $26.3 million project in fall/winter 2010.

National Youth Theatre Flies Out To Perform at World Expo, ShanghaiJuly 16, 2010A group of National Youth Theatre performers today jetted off to present Living the Dream in the UK Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo as global ambassadors for British culture. Starting on 19th July, the show will be performed on the pavilion site, and will link live action in Shanghai with scenes recorded in London, to create an audacious site specific production inspired by William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Directed by Bonny Downs. This light-hearted comedy finds Angela Drayton, a wealthy widow living in a retirement community in Florida. When she grows tired of footing the bills and handing out money to her unappreciative children, she and some of the other residents start the 'S.I.N. (Spending It Now) Foundation,' an organization which gives to those really in need. Fearing they will lose their inheritance, her greedy son, and his shopaholic wife show up to try to have her committed for incompetence. Turning the tables, Angela shows them just how competent she is, and then shows them the door.

Civic Theater West Holds Auditions for THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, 7/12 & 7/13 July 16, 2010Auditions will be held on Monday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 13 at 8:00pm. Call backs will be held on Wednesday, July 14 at 8:00pm. Rehearsals will be held between July 19 and September 9.
