Headlining this year's festival is pianist and singer Primo Kim, joined by his special guest vocalist, Jo Canion. Also on the bill are Tokyo-based singer and recording artist, Charito, and Sandra Lim Viray, jazz vocalist from Manila.

Cabaret Cares to feature Broadway's Carmen Ruby Floyd, Amanda McBroom, et al. 10/18October 3, 2010The Award winning series Cabaret Cares returns October 18th at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Cabaret Cares is a monthly cabaret series the raises awareness and funds for Help Is On The Way Today. A non for profit that helps and assists children and young adults living with HIV and AIDS. STAGE TUBE: Ellen DeGeneres Backstage at PROMISES, PROMISES October 2, 2010On September 7, Ellen DeGeneres made an appearance in Broadway's PROMISES, PROMISES alongside Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes. In the video below, DeGeneres visits backstage at the Broadway Theatre before her big debut. DeGeneres visited Chenoweth's dressing room where she met her dog, Maddie before being joined by Sean Hayes to practice breathing exercises with Hayes. DeGeneres then took the stage with the rest of the PROMISES, PROMISES cast to practice her singing.
Anderson, Moses, et al. Set for DISNEY ON CLASSIC Japanese Concert Tour, Begins 10/8October 2, 2010Another group of U.S. performers has arrived in Tokyo, Japan to begin Harmony Japan's 8th annual Disney on Classic concert tour. This year's concert features seven American singers, the world-renowned Tokyo Philarmonic Orchestra, and music from Disney's animated classic Beauty and the Beast as well as selections from The Lady & the Tramp, Mulan, as well as a suite from the 2010 Disney film The Prince of Persia. The 2010 cast, led by director Tony Clements, includes Broadway's Carey Anderson, Kate Margaret McCann, Jen Zappola, Chad Coudriet, Michael Di Liberto, and Norman Moses. Brad Kelley conducts the Tokyo Philharmonic 'Neverland' Orchestra.
Cabaret Star Pat Whiteman Brings Show To Palm Desert's Arthur Newman Theatre, 10/9September 26, 2010After a recent standing-room-only performances at the famed Gardenia in Los Angeles, Pat Whiteman reprises her new cabaret act 'The Mood I'm In' with one performance only on Saturday, October 9th at Arthur Newman Theatre in The Joslyn Center Theater in Palm Desert.
