Four County Players is pleased to announce the 1st Annual PLAYHOUSE SPRUCE-UP DAY on SATURDAY, JANUARY 8, 2011 from 10:00am to 4:00pm!

There are 59 species of birds and 6,220 individual birds in Central Park, according to the final tally of the 111th Christmas Bird Count held in Central Park today. Teams of citizen birdwatchers, guided by Urban Park Rangers, spent the morning canvassing all 843 acres of Central Park identifying and counting each and every bird in a game of ornithological 'I Spy.'

Jujamcyn has created a holiday video, highlighting their 2010 accomplishments and milestones including births, weddings, charities and of course shows like AMERICAN IDIOT and ELF.

This year marked major milestones for two iconic Los Angeles theaters. LXTV's Angela Sun headed over to the Bob Baker Marionette Theater which ushered in its 50th anniversary while Viviana Vigil went behind-the-scenes at the legendary Pantages Theater, which just celebrated its 80th birthday.

Laura Bell Bundy, country music and Broadway star of HAIRSPRAY and LEGALLY BLONDE fame, has been working on a sketch web series called Cooter County. Cooter County is home to some crazy people living inside the heads of John Hill and Tiffany and Brooke Egan - and of, course LBB!

James Caan, the Academy Award-nominated actor and Chairman of Openfilm.com, spices up his recent Internet foray by lending his voice as 'Jalapeno,' a suave and debonair chili pepper, who is spicy but not at all a hollow-peno, in the wildly successful web series 'The Annoying Orange.'

Asolo Repertory Theatre (Asolo Rep) proudly introduces the artists of its 2010-2011 repertory season; including participation from guest artists, Asolo Rep Associate Artists and the graduating class of the Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater is delighted to present The Arabian Nights, written and directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman (Metamorphoses). The production, presented in association with Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre and Lookingglass Theatre Company, has been recognized as 'Zimmerman's most theatrically complete and perfect creation' (Chicago Tribune). The Arabian Nights explores the humanity that people across all cultures share, as told through a whimsical, imaginative and compelling story. The Arabian Nights runs January 14-February 20, 2011 in the Fichandler Stage.

According to a recent interview with John Cameron Mitchell from Backstage, the star and mind behind HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is looking to bring the show to Broadway.
