The Theatre School at DePaul University announces that solo artist and actor Shannon Matesky is the 2012 recipient of The Claire Rosen and Samuel Edes Foundation Prize for Emerging Artists.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, recognized by U.S. Congress as a vital American "Cultural Ambassador to the World," will return to Paris for Les Etes de la Danse 8th International Dance Festival from June 25th through July 21st at Theatre du Chatelet. The 32-performance engagement, supported by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, follows successful sold-out and extended festival appearances in 2009 and 2006. After an acclaimed 27-city North American Tour, Ailey's extraordinary dancers will move audiences in France in a series of 15 premieres, new productions and repertory favorites, sharing internationally the next era in Ailey history led by dynamic Artistic Director Robert Battle.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston, in collaboration with the Waltham Public Schools, is now enrolling youths for its annual Broadway Summer Camp, an intensive four-week summer program that features Broadway stars sharing their musical theater experience with local students 8-15 years of age. The program runs July 2-27 in sessions Monday through Friday, 9am - 4 pm, at theKennedy Middle School, 655 Lexington Street, Waltham. Students do not need to be Waltham residents to register.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced their full slate of partner events and readings for their ninth annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 9th and continue through July 29th.

Olivia Newton-John returns to San Francisco for a rare one night only concert appearance on September 13 at SHN Golden Gate Theatre. This will be Newton-John's only Northern California appearance and her first concert in the City by the Bay in nearly a decade. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 29 at 10 AM.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater's Artistic Director Molly Smith and Executive Director Edgar Dobie announce thatnationally renowned arts marketer Chad Bauman will return to Arena Stage in July 2012 in the new role of Associate Executive Director. Bauman was most recently Director of Marketing and Membership for The Smithsonian Associates, and before that he led the communication and audience services efforts for Arena Stage for nearly five seasons.
