Mo Mandel Comes to Comedy Works in Larimer Square, 11/15-18October 18, 2012Mo Mandel regularly appears on the hit show Chelsea Lately and starred opposite Hank Azaria in an NBC sitcom last fall called Free Agents. Mandel has also made appearances on Modern Family, Happy Endings, Conan, Love Bites and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He has his own highly rated Comedy Central Presents Half Hour Special and has recently released his first CD, "The M Word," which he recorded Live at Comedy Works!

Daniel Harding Leads Renaud Capucon and the LA Phil in a Program of Korngold and Mahler at Walt Disney Concert Hall, 10/26-28October 18, 2012British conductor Daniel Harding returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall for the first time since 2004 to lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic in three performances, Friday, October 26, at 11 am, Saturday, October 27, at 8 pm, and Sunday, October 28, at 2 pm. The program opens with Korngold's Violin Concerto featuring one of today's most outstanding violinists, Renaud Capucon, who made a celebrated recording of the piece for Virgin Classics in 2009. The concert closes with Mahler's emotion-filled Fifth Symphony.
