Henri Labrouste: Structure Brought to Light will be the first solo exhibition of Labrouste's work in the United States to date and will highlight his work as a milestone in the evolution of modern architecture.

The Broadway National tour of the smash hit Broadway revival WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Portland, Maine. WEST SIDE STORY will open at Merrill Auditorium on November 9th and will be in town for three performances; November 9th at 8pm and November 10th at 2pm and 8pm. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction is recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award-nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).

'Empanada for a Dream' takes its title from the delicacies that Juan Francisco Villa's mother made that were legendary throughout his Lower East Side neighborhood while he was growing up: Empanadas so good that he would trade all his Batman and X-Men comics for them. In fact, Villa's memoir begins with the warm, fuzzy recollections of childhood and his Colombian family in New York.

Victory Gardens continues its 2012-13 season with the World Premiere of Failure: A Love Story, written by VG Ensemble Playwright Philip Dawkins and directed by Seth Bockley. The production runs November 16 - December 30, 2012 in the Richard Christiansen Theater at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park. The Press Opening is Monday, November 26, 2012 at 7:30 pm.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the nationally renowned Long Island summer arts day camp, announces new programs for its 46th, 2013 season. These include a three-week session July 22-August 9. This will be in addition to the four-week program beginning June 24 (the regular beginning of the season) and the full seven-week program. There will also be an expansion of the Usdan's Jazz Studies Program with three separate jazz ensembles: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, giving students more personalized attention at their specific levels as well as increased opportunity for performance at the Center's 1,000-seat McKinley Amphitheater. Visiting jazz faculty in 2013 will include Grammy-nominated jazz singer Jane Monheit, an alumna of Usdan's summer program. In addition, in response to popular demand, there will be a new "Technical Theatre" program for 10th to 12th grade students wishing to study theater stage management and set construction.

Former LA Phil Music Director Zubin Mehta returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Tuesday, October 30, at 8 pm. Joining them is thrilling pianist Yuja Wang performing Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1. Also on the program of Romantic Symphonies is a rare performance of Schubert's Third Symphony as well as Brahms' First Symphony. The concert is the first of the LA Phil's Visiting Orchestras series of the 2012/13 season.

Theatre Aspen's Board of Trustees will host an intimate panel discussion on November 8th, featuring distinguished leaders in the theatrical field. The event will be held in conjunction with the Colorado theatre's quarterly board meeting, being held for the first time in New York City. The event will be held at Ars Nova, a non-profit theatre known for developing exciting new artists, and is by invitation only.

Following a sold-out performance, iconic funny man Bill Cosby brings his signature comedy back to the Treasure Island Theatre November 23 at 8 p.m.

The Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 production of DISGRACED, the new play by Ayad Akhtar, directed by Kimberly Senior, has been extended through Sunday, December 2 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). The production, which features Heidi Armbruster, Erik Jensen, Aasif Mandvi, Omar Maskati and Karen Pittman, was originally scheduled to run through November 18. DISGRACED is produced by arrangement with the Araca Group.

Signature Theatre's GOLDEN CHILD, by David Henry Hwang, begins performances tonight directed by Leigh Silverman. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. Tickets for the already announced, one week extension are $75. The production runs from October 23 through December 9 and opens November 13 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Cincinnati Music Theatre (CMT), now celebrating its 50th Anniversary Season, will present Company, by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth, featuring a brilliant and energetic score with many of Sondheim's best-known songs, including "Another Hundred People," "The Ladies Who Lunch," and "Being Alive." Casting has been announced for the San Francisco return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. San Francisco's most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the SHN Orpheum Theatre stage from Thursday, November 1, 2012 to Sunday, January 13, 2013. THE LION KING returns to San Francisco for the first time since its triumphant 43-week run at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in 2004.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will continue its Fall 2012 season with the return engagement of film, television, and theatre star PETER GALLAGHER. For his one-man show, "How'd All You People Get In My Room?," Gallagher will share real-life stories from his early days starting out as a young actor in New York, to working with legends like Jack Lemmon, Tom Stoppard, Mike Nichols, Robert Altman, Peter O'Toole and more. Joined by his four-piece band, Gallagher brings his experiences to life with songs ranging from Broadway, to music from the hit television show "The OC," to classics from Sammy Cahn, Jules Styne, Burt Bacharach and Van Morrison. When Gallagher debuted at the club in 2007, The New York Times raved that "he inhabits a song so comfortably that it flows directly out, a fusion of his own personality and the character he is playing."
