The Segal Centre for Performing Arts and BMO Financial Group will present the Montreal premiere of RED by John Logan, a captivating look into the life of iconic Abstract-Expressionist painter Mark Rothko. Directed by Canadian stage legend Martha Henry, this six-time Tony Award-winning play will be presented in the Segal Theatre from November 25th to December 16th, 2012.

On November 9 and 10, Company of Fools and the Sun Valley Center for the Arts present Happily Ever After?- an enchanting concert at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey that explores fairy tales in the American musical theatre. Happily Ever After? will feature music from some of Broadway's favorite fairy-tale musicals including Into the Woods, Cinderella, Once Upon a Mattress and The little Mermaid. R.L. The Casting Society of America (CSA) winners were announced last night of the 28th Annual Artios Awards® For Outstanding Achievement in Casting. Hosted by Nicole Sullivan, the award ceremony was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. In Los Angeles. Presenters included Anna Kendrick, Jeremy Renner, Armie Hammer, Jean Smart, Nat Faxon, Atticus Shaffer, Michael Hoffman, and Cedric the Entertainer. The New York ceremony was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy.

Arlo Guthrie will play the Colonial on November 16 at 8pm to honor his father, Woody Guthrie, and all that he contributed to Folk Music. For this concert only, Arlo will be accompanied by his family, to celebrate Woody Guthrie's life and music.

A free staged reading of Caridad Svich's new play SPARK will be presented on Sunday evening, November 11th at 7:00pm.

Comic icon and self-proclaimed "Undisputed Heavyweight King of Comedy," Andrew Dice Clay, will be taking the Fox Theater stage on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, for one outstanding performance. The Lied Center for Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present the Vienna Boys Choir at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13. The group of 25 boys performs a wide variety of traditional and world music, backed by more than 500 years of Viennese tradition. Due to Hurricane Sandy, the preview performances (Saturday, November 3 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm and Sunday, November 4 at 3:00pm) of the new musical LOUIS ARMSTRONG: JAZZ AMBASSADOR have been canceled. The World-Premiere new musical with book by Myla Churchill (Making Books Sing's "A Band of Angels") and featuring music made famous by Louis Armstong will continue to open on schedule on Sunday, November 4 at 6:00pm at Theater 3 (311 West 43rd Street) in Manhattan, it has been announced by Making Books Sing Artistic Director, Barbara Zinn-Krieger.

Governor Steve Beshear recently appointed a new member to the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts Board of Directors, and reappointed two others. Dave Calzi, managing partner of of the Louisville office of Ernst & Young, has been appointed to the Board for the first time. Former Metro Louisville First Lady Madeline Abramson has been reappointed as chairman, and consultant Don Parkinson has been reappointed as vice chairman.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF continues its efforts to make theater affordable and accessible to every member of the community by offering its inaugural Pay-What-You-Will performance in conjunction with David Mamet's Race on Friday, November 2 at 8 p.m.

Stage Adaptation and translation of Henrik Ibsen's play A Doll's House by Ingmar Bergman (Miss Julie, Scenes from a Marriage), English translation by Frederick J. Batsheva Ensemble, the youth branch of Israel's world-renowned contemporary dance group, Batsheva Dance Company, appear at Birmingham Hippodrome on Tuesday 13 - Wednesday 14 November for the very first time, performing Deca Danceby Batsheva's Artistic Director Ohad Naharin - part of a Dance Consortium UK debut tour.

Following a sell-out run at Hampstead Downstairs in 2011, Hampstead Theatre has announced the transfer of Di and Viv and Rose to the main stage in January 2013. Di and Viv and Rose will be the first transfer from Downstairs to the Main Stage - a model the theatre hopes to see repeated in the future.

Casting has been announced for the acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre production of Goodnight Mister Tom which runs at the Phoenix Theatre from 22 November 2012 for 9 weeks before embarking on a UK Tour from 29 January.
