The roof winds up being the least of the Ducotel family's trouble. On the way from France are an evil-minded cousin and his cold-blooded nephew, who jilted the Ducotel's daughter for an heiress. The three convicts are passionate believers in true justice, and decide it's their job to take the visitors on. Possessing every criminal art and penal grace, they set matters right in this captivating and comedic holiday treasure.

Ben Caron Releases New EP

Los Angeles-based songwriter Ben Caron is releasing another EP on his way to a fully fan-funded debut album. Love Me Too, which will be released on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, is the third installment of new music from the artist. Caron has been recording his album in three-song segments, which have all been paid for through donations from his growing sphere of fans through a blog he set up for just this purpose. He has been building his fan base and testing the songs at performances across Southern California. In Los Angeles, he is a regular performer and producer at Rockwell: Table and Stage, where he held residence in May as well as performing sold-out shows at Bar Lubitsch and M Bar.

The Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra (CSYO) will showcase one of its own alumni in its concert at the Capitol Theatre on November 11. Violinist Siwoo Kim, who graduated from the CSYO program in 2008, will be featured on Brahms' Violin Concert in D Major. Hailing from Westerville, Kim graduated from Julliard in May 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in music, and is continuing on at the prestigious school to pursue a Master's Degree. The concert program will also include Wagner's Overture to Die Meistersingers and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5 in D Major ("Reformation"). CSO Associate Conductor Peter Stafford Wilson will conduct.

These two writers have been awarded commissions worth $15,000 each. With a prize pool of $30,000, the Richard Burton Award for Playwriting is one of the richest in Australia.
