Ben Caron Releases New EPOctober 31, 2012Los Angeles-based songwriter Ben Caron is releasing another EP on his way to a fully fan-funded debut album. Love Me Too, which will be released on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, is the third installment of new music from the artist. Caron has been recording his album in three-song segments, which have all been paid for through donations from his growing sphere of fans through a blog he set up for just this purpose. He has been building his fan base and testing the songs at performances across Southern California. In Los Angeles, he is a regular performer and producer at Rockwell: Table and Stage, where he held residence in May as well as performing sold-out shows at Bar Lubitsch and M Bar.

Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra Concert to Feature CSYO Alumni and Julliard Grad Siwoo KimOctober 31, 2012The Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra (CSYO) will showcase one of its own alumni in its concert at the Capitol Theatre on November 11. Violinist Siwoo Kim, who graduated from the CSYO program in 2008, will be featured on Brahms' Violin Concert in D Major. Hailing from Westerville, Kim graduated from Julliard in May 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in music, and is continuing on at the prestigious school to pursue a Master's Degree. The concert program will also include Wagner's Overture to Die Meistersingers and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5 in D Major ("Reformation"). CSO Associate Conductor Peter Stafford Wilson will conduct.
