David Margulies, Lenny Wolpe and More Set for OVER THE RIVER AND THEROUGH THE WOODS at Westport Country PlayhouseOctober 31, 2012Casting is announced for Westport Country Playhouse's Script in Hand playreading of "Over the River and Through the Woods" by Tony Award-winning playwright Joe DiPietro, a comedy about a single, Italian-American guy who visits his beloved, though annoying, grandparents every Sunday for dinner. Scheduled for one-night-only on Monday, November 12, 7 p.m., the cast includes Matthew Amendt, Nicole Lowrance, David Marguiles, Frances Sternhagen, Maria Tucci, and Lenny Wolpe. Director is Anne Keefe, Playhouse artistic advisor.

Trinity Wall Street’s Julian Wachner Leads VOX, 11/8October 31, 2012On November 8, maestro Julian Wachner - Director of Music and the Arts for Trinity Wall Street - returns to lead the 13th annual VOX festival at the Skirball Center in New York's Greenwich Village. Described by the New York Times as an "invaluable showcase," VOX is the New York City Opera's workshop for previously unproduced contemporary American opera.
