In a change to Signature Theatre's 2012-2013 Cabaret Series line-up, Broadway favorite and Signature veteran Emily Skinner will perform her show There is Nothing Like a Dame in a special five-performance run from January 9 - 12 in the ARK Theatre.

Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre will present its second annual production of Thornton Wilder's holiday gem, "The Long Christmas Dinner." Two casts - one black and one white - play the same American family in a celebration of life that spans 90 years and three generations all within 45 minutes. Written before "Our Town," the play takes place at the Christmas dinner table and as the family marks births, deaths and the eternal truths of life, it provides a profound and poignant theater experience.

This season, American Globe Theatre and the Puppet Shakespeare Players are proud to present the Bard's most famous love story-- Romeo and Juliet. Produced in collaboration with Dee Snider's STT Productions, the show is set to open this January.

The Handel and Haydn Society has received gifts totaling $2 million to endow its chorus and educational outreach programs. A gift of $1 million from Jane and Wat Tyler will fund the Handel and Haydn Society Chorus, ensuring the continued artistic excellence of this signature professional ensemble. A second gift of $1 million from Karen Levy will support the Karen S. and George D. Levy Educational Outreach Program. These milestone gifts are the largest in the Society's 198-year history and come as the organization approaches its Bicentennial in 2015 and prepares for the early stages of a campaign to fund new strategic initiatives and endowment. Nick Gleysteen, Chairman of the Board, remarked, "Wat Tyler and Karen Levy have each given many years of service and support to Handel and Haydn. Performances of Really Really begin at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on January 31, 2013 and continue through March 10, 2013. Tickets now on sale for Cirque Eloize iD, directed by Jeannot Painchaud and winner of the 26th Grand Prix du Conseil des Arts de Montréal for its exceptional international success in 2010. iD will run for eight shows at the Merriam Theatre from December 26th to 30th, 2012 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by the Kimmel Center and the Shubert Organization.

The Jewish Museum will present Kids Flix Mix, a program of eleven recent animated short films for kids, on Thursday and Friday, December 27 and 28 at 11:30 am. An array of traditional, CGI and collage animation styles in films from around the world will be shown. Kids Flix Mix is produced in collaboration with the New York International Children's Film Festival.
