Gretna Theatre and The Lantern Lodge present Broadway's Timothy Shew and Jane Brockman in a dinner-cabaret event 'Love ‘Round the Piano' for two performances only on Saturday,February 12 and Sunday, February 13, 2011.

The Howard County Arts Council is now accepting attendee registration for its annual Cultural Arts Showcase presented in partnership with the Recreation & Leisure Service Branch (RALS) of the Maryland Recreation & Parks Association. The event will be held at Howard County Center for the Arts at 8510 High Ridge Road in Ellicott City on March 3 & 4, 2011.

Abraxas Stage Company will present the World Premiere of NEXT, a dark and dirty WWII prostitution drama by Stephen Gracia. Directed by Michael LoPorto, previews begin February 2 at HERE Arts Center with opening slated for Saturday, February 5th at 7pm. The Polish Cultural Institute, in partnership with East River Commedia, present the New York premiere of Dorota Maslowska's play, A Couple of Poor, Polish-Speaking Romanians. The play opens Wednesday, February 4th prior to an official press opening on February 10 and runs through February 26th, 2011, 8:00 PM at Abrons Arts Center. Jim Caruso presents songwriter Andrew Gerle and his talented friends in 'Say We Flew - The Songs of Andrew Gerle'. The concert will take place on Monday, January 31 at 7pm as part of the Broadway at Birdland series, which showcases performers and writers from the Great White Way. Beginning January 20th, 2011 The Director by Nancy Hasty will begin performances at The American Theatre of Actors (314 West 54). Nutshell Productions will present The Director, directed by Richard Hymes-Esposito. The show will open on Thursday, January 27th and run through February 19th.

Dave King will perform with his new band, The Dave King Trucking Company at the first performance at the new Loring Theater on January 15th. Previously the Music Box Theatre, Loring Theater has now returned to its original name, bringing a broad and eclectic mix of performances to this 90 year old stage.

Tickets for DreamWorks Theatricals and Broadway Across America's 'MADAGASCAR LIVE' have gone on-sale in many cities across the U.S. DreamWorks Theatricals' first-ever live family touring show is expected to visit more than 70 cities across the United States beginning January 28, 2011 in York, PA.

Brian Groder presents the 'Cartologia Suite' at The Stone on Thursday, January 13th 8pm with Brian Groder (trumpet), Angelica Sanchez (piano), Sean Conly (bass), and Newman Baker (drums). There will be a music charge of $10 a person. The Stone is located at the corner of Avenue C and E. 2nd Street.

Right Between the Ears revs up the first live show of 2011 with a special guest appearance by KMBC TV9 chief meteorologist Bryan Busby. It's Bryan's fourth appearance on the show.
