Tribeca Film and Miramax Announce Distribution Deal for 'Last Night' Film

Tribeca Film and Miramax today announced they are teaming up on the U.S. release of Last Night, an intricately layered relationship drama starring Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Eva Mendes and Guillaume Canet. Tribeca Film has acquired theatrical, VOD and select digital rights to Last Night and plans to release the film in Spring 2011 theatrically in multiple U.S. markets, including New York and Los Angeles, and also via national VOD outlets and on additional platforms.

The Women's Work contest consists of two components: Sapphics on Stage and Sapphics on Screen. Sapphics on Stage is a contest for work with lesbian characters, history, or themes for the theatre, including performance art or other performed pieces. Sapphics on Screen is a contest for work with lesbian characters, history, or themes for film and television.

This marked the first time a Disney production was ever produced at Way Off Broadway and has already become one of the best selling shows at the theatre. Through the rest of 101 Dalmatians' run, Way Off Broadway has teamed up with the Frederick County Animal Control Center for a 'Doggie Adoption Promotion.'
