Set on September 12, 2001, less than twenty-four hours after terrorists brought down the World Trade Center, The Mercy Seat introduces us to lovers Ben and Abby.

Although Angela Gheorghiu was set to star in the production, she withdrew due to what her management calls 'artistic reasons' - in this version of the classic, the setting will be modern, taking place in the 20th century as opposed to the usual staging of the 16th century. This shift is being cited as Gheorghiu's reason for leaving the production.

In celebration of jazz appreciation month, the Indy Jazz Fest Band, comprised of the area's finest jazz musicians, along with acclaimed jazz vocalist Cynthia Lane, will take the audience through a multi-media, musical history of this truly American art form. Featuring live music alongside video footage of famous Jazz legends, the performance will showcase jazz from its early beginnings to modern jazz.

Actress Allison Scagliotti will join the team on Destination Truth: Live from Ireland - The Search for the Banshee Ghost, a four-hour special episode that will take Josh Gates and team to Ireland for their very first live investigation. This spring, Christie Brinkley, one of the world's most successful supermodels, is set to make her highly anticipated Broadway stage debut as merry murderess Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning hit musical CHICAGO. Based on Fellini's classic film, '8 1/2', NINE is a spectacular musical that first delighted Broadway theatergoers in 1982 winning five Tony Awards - including Best Musical. A hit Broadway revival starring Antonio Banderas was awarded two additional Tony Awards in 2003. The 2009 film of the same name featured a star-studded cast and a story loosely based on the original. If you haven't seen the stage version, however, you likely have not seen this story.

Legendary French pianist and composer Michel Legrand will return to the Blue Note for a series of concerts with his trio from March 29 - April 3. Legrand is best known for his film scores - Umbrellas of Cherbourg, The Thomas Crown Affair and the theme song from Yentl are among the highlights - but they tend to overshadow his extensive work as a jazz arranger/composer and pianist.
