The new Broadway musical, COME FLY AWAY, conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, will make its Connecticut premiere at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford May 29-June 3, 2012, as part of The Bushnell's 2011-2012 Broadway Series.

Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese will inaugurate the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' 'Member Selects' evening with a screening of 'The Bicycle Thief' (1948) on Monday, May 16, at 7 p.m. at the Academy Theater at Lighthouse International in New York City. Scorsese will introduce the program, which is part of the Academy's ongoing 'Monday Nights with Oscar' film series.
